Arrival Story:
My husband and I decided it was time to get Muffin a kitty-playmate (and someone to help her take on the dog!) So my mom and I dropped by the nearest shelter and looked at some cats. My husband wanted a long-haired one (yay for shedding!) so I picked out this one to hold. She flopped over in my arms and I held her like a baby on her back for 10 minutes...by then I figured she was coming home with me no matter what! http://i277.photobucket.com/albums /kk72/smscharber/Scrapbook%20Pages /LucyPage.jpg Striped paper, embellishments, and gray paper from the Autumn Treasures Kit on www.sentimentalstyle.blogspot.com; cream paper from the Splendid Kit from www.shabbyprincess.com

Bio:
Lucy likes to hang out in our bedroom, either on the bed or headboard. She likes to cuddle with anyone, anytime. She can beat up our dog. She is a dainty eater. She sheds A LOT. Lucy has big, gorgeous yellow eyes. She likes to talk a LOT. Being brushed doesn't bother her a bit. She really likes sitting by the open windows and feeling the breeze in her hair. Her meows sometimes sound like bird chirps. She's a snuggle bug!

The Lovely Life of Little Lucy

Secret Santa?

December 10th 2008 1:10 pm   [link to this entry]

It would appear I have a secretive furiend out there somewhere. He or she left a present fur Shula, Muffin, and I. I am guessing the furiend is of the canine variety. Hmmm....puzzling. Thank you, Secret Santa!

*Sigh*

Well, it has finally happened. I have allowed Shula to get close to me with me complaining. Granted I was sitting on Father's lap, so I felt pretty safe. He was sitting on the couch next to the dog's blanket, so I jumped on his lap. Then Shula decided to lay down on her blanket...I wasn't too keen on that to begin with and began roaring in protest! She kept sticking her nose all over me. The nerve.

Then after awhile, she settled down, and Father was petting us. I sprawled out a little to rest...and THEN...Shula moved her head over and used me as a pillow! However, she wasn't poking at me or sniffing, so I allowed her to stay. Father took some pictures and sent them to Mother. Now the world will know that I indeed CAN get along with the dog.
