I had my first B-day! Update from My Forever Family

I just received the below update on Sala from her forever family...I have also added a couple of picture of new picture of Sala that her family sent of her all grown up. She is so beautiful!!!

Thank you for your email and for thinking of Sala. Yes, she did celebrate her 1st birthday recently. She got extra love and a big portion of canned tuna for the special the occasion!

Sala continues to grow and make her mark on our household. We are continually amazed by how savvy, loving and talkative she is! She also continues to develop a unique relationship with each of the other kitties in our home. Simon is her cuddle bud, Nico her sweet and authoritative sister, and Thor her gently assertive brother. She has definitely been the best addition to our home! Thank you again for giving her a loving start. We're grateful to have such an amazing kitty to share our home with.

Update on Sala's life in her forever home...

Just received this update from Sala's forever family...

"Life with Sala is wonderful. She is a vivacious and extremely bright kitty who has brought joy, love, and rambunctious energy into our home. You're right, she's definitely not as small as she was when she first came to our home, but she is definitely Adam's little girl. She's content curling up in his lap, sleeping next to him, or chatting with him about her day. What a talkative young lady she's become!

Best of all, we're so happy that she's become a full-fledged part of the kitty family. Surprisingly, it was Simon, my shy white long-haired fellow, who became her fast friend. The two play and cuddle and take turns grooming each other. Sala has also developed strong and feisty bonds with Thor and our other female, Nico. "

Lastest News On Me (Note from My Forever Dad)

My forever dad sent my foster mom the following update on my yesterday....

"Sala is the best! She is completely integrated into our home and very happy with her new brothers and sister. What an amazing kitty she is! We're very happy with her and she seems remarkably comfortable and happy in her new environment. I just wanted to update you so you would know that she couldn't have found a better forever home. She talks to me frequently, by the way. When she comes to sit on my lap she "cries" once while looking up at me. Then she purrs like a lawnmower and snuggles for long periods."

Loving my forever home...

I LOVE MY DADDY!!!! I LOVE MY MOMMY! I LOVE ALL MY KITTY BROHTERS AND SISTERS! WHAT CAN I SAY... BEING IN A FOREVER HOME IS JUST MORE FUN THAN I EVER IMAGINED!

I am just one of the family now at my forever home... and, after one week I can't even imagine myself still living with my foster family. Life there was good... but, being in a forever home is just... what can I say! It is the BEST EVER!!!

I get to sleep with my dad... play with my dad... play with my kitty brothers and sisters... and just hang out with my mom and the whole entire family! It is the life!!! I am just the queen! I am a very happy girl indeed!

I Have a New Name!!! Call me Sala!!!

Hello Everyone - My forever daddy found the perfect forever name for me. I am now Sala. My name means Peace in Hebrew. I think it is just the best name ever! I am just loving my new home. I am already mixed with my kitty family and doing well with them. Actually, I insisted the very first night that I wanted to meet them... I just couldn't wait. Sweet little me just begged and begged to be let out of the bedroom and into the living room with all of my forever brothers and sisters. My forever parents were a little worried.... but I was fine! I am big girl and I can handle myself just fine!!! Thank you!

I have been getting lots of special play time with my dad and with my mom. I just love them so much already!!! And, I know my dad and mom love me!!! What a lucky girl I am that my family found me. Do you know they picked me out among all of the kittens on the website of my rescue group? How lucky is that!!!

I have added some new pictures to my page... One if of me and my forever daddy and one is of my relaxing an loving my new home in my pink kitty cube.

Oh... and, don't let me forget... my mom is going to create a new page for me on Catster in my forever home. Watch out for it!!! My foster mom will let you know when the page is up and running!!!

I went to my new home last night (Friday!)

It was finally my turn!!! I got to go to my new home last night. I know it was bittersweet for my foster mom and dad to take me to my new forever home since I was the last of Nala's babies to find a home. I had a very special place in their heart and I know I will be missed... But, I am off to the best home ever so they are very happy for me at the same time.

I was very good in the car ride over to my new home... as I always am. I purred a lot and slept for a few minutes in my foster dad's lap. I wanted him to know how much I loved him!!!

When I got to my new house I was a little overwhelmed at first. I had some brothers and sisters kitties waiting for me and they were really excited to meet me. Luckily, my new dad and mom arranged for me to get my own bedroom for a little while. I am lucky cause my bedroom is actually their bedroom so I get to sleep with them.

When my foster mom and foster dad left I was exploring my new rooom and playing with my daddy! I have the best daddy ever!!! I am his first kitty that he can call his own. It is very exciting!!!

Oh... and BTW... Tabitha... my adopted sister got a home just before I left so I know she is going to be very happy. My foster parents told me about her home just before they left me with my family. I know they wanted me to feel ok about leaving Tabitha behind!!!

Oh... I found my forever home!!!

Yeah!!! It was finally my turn today! I get to go to my own home! And, to a Catster family!!!! What could be better than that! I am going to have my very own dad and a mom and three kitty brothers and sisters!!! Next Friday is my big day for moving to my forever home! Check out my new family...

I get the house to myself!!!

Wow! My remaining sister Abby is going to her forever home tonight... at least that is what foster mom tells me. I am very excited for Abby... but, will be even more excited when it is my turn for my very own forever home. Foster mom and dad tell me that they are happy that I am still with them since they love me so much! Since my brother JR was adopted a little over a week ago I have become a real lap cat and will sit with my foster mom while she watches TV... I just love to lay on her lap and get love and pets... It is just the best! I can't wait until I have a family of my own and my forever home! Hope my forever family finds me soon! I am just the most special girl ever! Sweet Little Me... Still Looking for a Forever Home!!!

Hi Everyone,

As of today I am still in search of my forever home. I am really hoping the I find my forever family soon. I am just the best girl... a ton of fun and snuggly too! What more could you ask for...? So, if you are interested in a beautiful tortie like me... just let my foster mom know. She is handling this adoption thing for me. My tortie sister Abby and my tortie mother Steffie are also still available... We are just the best bunch! HEY...!!! Did you know that all of the tortie's in my family might have some Cornish Rex ancestry? This breed orginated in England and we don't have many outer "guard" hair.... This means they shed less than other short haired cats. Also... their personalities are termed "playful." WOW... after my foster mom told me all of this stuff... I really know why I like to have fun cause this breed certainly sounds like me! Sending out lots of love to everyone... and, especially my future family!! Pepper!!!

I have a kitty admirer...

Stormy is my kitty admirer... It is so specail to have a kitty like Stormy looking out for me and watching over me while I am looking for my forever home. How lucky am I? I am a beautiful salt and pepper tortie with a lot of orange and my foster mom tell me that I am stunningly beautiful. I am looking for a home where I will get lots of love... I am a snuggler and a party girl... so lots of play time with my human family and another kitty (maybe my brother Elton or my sister Abby or even my mother Steffie) is a must!
