Bio:
Edward Horton depended on an outdoor feeding station through the winter of '08, including the day it was -50 degrees with the wind. He has come through quite unscathed and is currently waiting for his own forever home. His ears are curly along the edges and he had mouse..er...droppings in his matted fur so had to be shaved, giving him a somewhat mildewed appearance at the moment. He banged his nose up at the clinic on the cage door before anyone realized what was happening: he'd been out so long that he didn't understand "inside". It is almost healed now and he is a very gentle cat who likes his chow, sitting in the blue condo and lots of scritching around his fat jowls. He has not caused any grief for his middle aged kitty room mates. You can visit him at the SCAT shelter.

I got in a huge fight with Eddie today. He may have jumped on me and I may have hit him, but he took a swipe out of me. Not cool. I watched the human pull my fur out of his claws. Not saying that he won or anything, just that he's a jerk.

I got brushed today; it was nice until she got to my belly. Grr. Do not like. I hope they don't give me one of those haircuts again. I've been trying to keep myself clean, but it's so hard, I have so much fur. Webster stayed out of my way today, which was good. He just sat up at the top of the catwalk, all grumpy, again. I win.

Man, I'm losing it with Webster. I'm over it. I'm top cat. I've been top cat ever since I came to this joint three months ago. He just can't deal with it. He's always breathing down my neck, and he keeps telling me "bigger cats then you have tried." As if that matters, I lived with ferals man, FERALS, I've been on the street. I know how to take care of myself, and he's been here forever, since he was a kitten. He doesn't know what the real world is like. It's cold out there.
