Arrival Story:
Mao was rescued from a kill shelter and had a 24in tape worm inside her. Thanks to some wonderful humans, she was cleaned up and cared for. We posted an ad on craigslist in want of a cat and Mao showed up in our inbox and we fell in love with her. But our poor little girl was diagnosed with feline luekemia before we got her. We decided to take her anyway and give her the best life she can have and hopefully it won't be any shorter than normal kitties.

Bio:
Mao is incredibly intelligent. She will sit at the screen door and make chirping noises to lure the birds that she wants to get at. She's constantly active unless she's sprawled like a pretzel on the living room floor.
