Arrival Story:
I first saw Tipper running with some strays I assume to be his mom & sibs. But he was much smaller and obviously weaker than them. It took no time to chase him down and he was panicked at first but calmed down quickly when I cuddled him close to my chest. When I was able to get a good look at him I saw his left eye looked very cloudy and gray and I knew if I left him, he would die. For the first few days I kept him away from Sassy's & Alex's bowl and fed him small amounts of canned food and even a bottle w/ formula because I thought he was only around 5 weeks or so.

Bio:
Tipper went to the vet for his eye within the first week and is blind in it. The vet also said he wss around 8 weeks but very tiny at 1 1/2 lbs. But he was also healthy enough to be fixed. He had a slight upper respiratory infection so was given antibiotics.

Tipper is blind in his left eye and very tiny for his age. The vet expects him to remain smaller than average. Alex has become a protective older brother who looks out for him and puts up with being Tipper's favorite toy.

It has been almost 2 weeks since Mom chased me down and brought me home. She didn't let me eat much at first because I was so hungry but I loved the bottle. Now I get to eat whenever I want to. And Mom only had to put me in that big box thing and I never once messed on the floor. She has to keep something beside it so I can get inside but getting out is no problem.

My brother Alex is fun but he doesn't have a tail to play with. I like to sneak up on Sassy and grab her tail & then I run off before she can swat me. Alex follows me around sometimes to make sure I am safe. He even swatted me one day for trying to climb the curtains. But he looks out for me and I love to wrestle with him.

Mom says I never have to leave her and I love climbing into the bed we all share with Mom. I am so lucky she found me. The vet told her I probably would not have lived much longer because I never got enough to eat.
