Arrival Story:
I thought that Boogie, my female cat, wanted a buddy. She seemed lonely. So I went to the Southern Hope facility in Fulton county and found Sammy. I went in hoping to find a kitten, but this beautiful grey tuxedo cat reached right out of the cage and grabbed my shirt. At that time he was 8 lbs and 10 months old. I asked them to let me see him. As soon as they put him in my arms he started rubbing his face all over my face and neck. He had an upper respiratory infection. He covered me with kitty snot, and that's how he won my heart!

Sammy is the sweetest cat I've ever known, but he is truly a momma's boy. He really won't let other people pet him at all unless he's feeling really generous!
