Arrival Story: In 1998, I went to the local humane society looking for a cat. Moonie was in a cage and he "flopped" on his side for me. My friend told me there must be something wrong with him but he stole my heart. As I was taking him home, people kept commenting on his beautiful markings. He still loves to flop but there is nothing wrong with him! :) He is 10 years old now and I love him SOOO much! He has always been an only child but last year, we asked him to allow his now brother Bean to come live with him. Bean was a 6 year old male at the time so it wasn't just like introducing him to a kitten. Moon was amazing! He loves Bean just like his little brother. THEN...we asked them both to welcome Sunny into their home this past April. Again, Moon surprised us. He has been a little swatty and hissy at her at times but she is a very bold little puppy so it's to be expected. Considering everything, Moon has been an angel through all of this! In fact, I think he is an angel...sent to me at a difficult time in my life and totally loved me through it :)
Bio: Moonie started out as a stray...when he was 3 months old he ended up at the humane society. Then, they loaned him to a technical college for the students to practice on him (GASP!). He was neutered and tested for every disease under the sun. The local humane society forgot he was there (GASP!) and left him there for 3 months! When I found him, he was 6 months old and back at the humane society (thank god).

I've Been On Catster Since:
Got up this morning, ran to my food mat. Gone. Food and water bowls...gone! Ut-oh...last time my mat was empty, I got shipped off to the vet for a dental cleaning. I started to feel very panicky, hungry, anxious, starrrrrving! I sat on my mat in protest. Then, mom let Sunny out and gave me my food. Phew! It is Sunny who isn't allowed to eat today. Not me. After they put Sunny in the car, they returned my food and water bowls to their rightful place and I was allowed to resume grazing for the rest of the day. Ahhhh.....
Mom has been out of work the last few weeks which means she's been home, which means Sunny (stinky puppy sister) has been out of her crate which means I have been on guard all the time. I like it better when the peeps are gone cause that means Sunny is in her crate and I get the house. Today, the peeps got up and both of them left WITH Sunny. They came back an hour later WITHOUT Sunny. Hmmm...I jumped up on the ottoman and looked out the window. I usually can't lay here when SHE is here. I'm not sure where she is but I could get used to this. I hope she doesn't come back too soon.
P.S...I think I heard mom saying something about "spaying" and "picking her up at 3:30". I hope she was talking about Bean...MOL!
WOW! We woke up this morning and HQ told us that I am a diary pick of the day today! This is my very first time! I am sooooo excited! Sunny (my stinky puppy sister) has been diary picks lots of times but me and Bean....never! I finally made it to the big screen. MEEEEEOOOOOooooooowwwwww!!!!!!!!!!
