somewhere else

now we are somewhere else, and there is mom and penguin and me and the other mom with curly hair and emily, who is small and black. at first, i protected emily, but she is growing and can protect herself... she likes to play with penguin all the time. i like to watch them play.

different

everything is different... before, there was mom and penguin and me and the singing things, and it was small. now it is big, and there are others. they don't like me, and i don't like them. i only want mom and penguin and me and the singing things. and i want mom to never go away. she should stay with me and sleep. i feel small and the same, like before, when we sleep.

mom's lap

i am laying on mom's lap. it is my favorite place. the vcr is warm. but mom's lap is best. penguin stays down there, and i stay up here. he can't get me. sometimes he gets me down there, and he is big. i am only small.

now...sleep. so warm.
