Arrival Story:
A volunteer found him wandering around her neighborhood. She put up posters but no one claimed him so he came to the shelter.

Bio:
Most cats are nervous and stressed when they come to the shelter. It is a difficult transition to be in a cage surrounded by strange cats. But not Mel! He is happy to have a dry place to sleep and plenty of food to eat -- things he didn't have as a stray. Mel is friendly, affectionate and easygoing. He sleeps upside down with his tummy up and his legs stretched out. He couldn't look more relaxed. You've got to see his video! Mel is an exceptionally handsome grey tabby with green eyes.
