The People Found Out...

As a Queen, one must keep romance on the 'down low'. Mom thought I hated the black cat across the street. Well...she just caught me going to HIS house, and smooching. If the paparazzi finds out I'm ruined...However...He is very handsome...purrrrrr....

Ahhh, what a lovely life!

I have a new kitten, I am raising her right, she is quite the Princess in training. Cuzn Metro, whom I raised last year, is visiting, and he has resumed his place (below me), and all is well. The puppy knows I'm the boss and not fond of dogs, so she leaves me alone. That stupid lab, Cuzn Sarge, moved out when teenboy graduated. Thank goodness, what an irritant.

If I could just get my people to be faster refilling the food bowl this would be heaven on earth.

My people are nuts!

We were down to three pets. One me, two bassets. Not fond of the bassets, but they know their place. THEN in moved Cuzn Sarge, a huge stupid 8 mo teenage yellow lab boy. He is DYING to kiss me, and chase me. I can tell. Now mom brings home a chi/pek puppy. I will NOT raise this baby! Puppies and kittens are NOT the same thing.

The Queen has spoken. I will not love this little puppy. Tolerate, maybe. Love? Never!!!

The fam has decided I'm a Queen. I'm ok with that! They are at my beck and meow, and I'm really ok with that! The other kitties honor me with respect, love, bathing, and snuggling. Yes, this life stuck inside is not so bad, not bad at all.

1. I have a very lady like meow, and I save it for emergencys. (ie: empty food bowl, dirty litterbox)
2. I like kittens. I've never given birth to any, but I have raised many.
3. I'm ban to the inside of the house. I'm coming to terms with it. Mom keeping the blinds open helps alot.
4. I drink water with my paw. Such a lady.
5. I am a master hunter. Or was, when I was allowed outside. (before I got caught sleeping in the street;).

7. I like to nap on mom's bed (laundry optional).

I'm getting old...

The fam has decided I'm acting weird. They have grounded me inside until the backyard is cat ready. I have been found more than once in the middle of the road out front. Not safe. Mom locked me in the catbox room to make me use it. Well, I did. Now she's happy. She's hoping I'll start using it again. She even promise to keep it super clean. I used to not care. (well, there was a limit!:) I prefur to be outside. Who thought my mind would go first? So much living on instinct. Mom's hoping it was just the bio-spot. Anyway, I'm inside, safe and sound (AND bored out of my mind! Whats left anyway.:)

and old! Mom has decided we need new friends. Graciously many have honored us with their new friendship and gifts! We thank you all! We so have enjoyed viewing your pretty pictures and stories! Mom says, and I agree, that cats are the most beautiful creatures on earth! And families that have us in their mist are blessed! Purrsssss to you all!

This week in review...

Wonderful drizzly weather. This is wonderful because mom leaves the front door open so we can come and go. We cats that is, NOT the stupid dogs.

I don't remember if I told you about the new guy. Teenboy brought a little black fellow home, dumped with mom and family. This was the only one he could catch. He has a big mouth and meows all the time! He does love Tiny and they just play play play! NationalGuardSon adopted the new guy, and took a myspace poll for his name, Metro.

Spunk still waylays the kittens, keeps them on their toes! Spunky has found love, and amazingly it hasn't changed her catfooey at all! Good luck Teddy-you got yourself 'quite' a gal!

Mom and dad bought the lot behind our house and when the fence is put up we felines will move to the back yard. The dogs will have their own side, of course. Mom has plans to set up an outside food bowl under a covered shelter. I'm looking forward to it, food should be provided inside and outside as well.

Nothing new here...

Same o same o. Have to say I like it that way. Mom powdered the cat food with DE and I'm protesting-wish that was something new, but she does it all the time. I refuse to eat, and she ALWAYS gets me fresh, unpowdered food. I don't need that DE stuff. She even put the food on the floor in the kitchen so I didn't have to go in the washroom with the dogs-stupid slobberly dogs. She said she'd leave it there, but when those idiots run wild they eat all of my food. I don't mind because I expect mom to fill it back up. Mom says something about the cost of cat food and wasting and on and on, so I guess she just needs to pick it up when the dogs are loose. Makes sense doesn't it? Aaaaahhhh...my life is sweet! And I LOOK GOOD!
