Hello Catster Community,
My name is Tammy Rhodes. I am Sherry's daughter. I was able to figure out Mom's password and wanted to send a message to all of her friends on Catster. Mom absolutely loved socializing on Dogster and Catster and all the many friends she made on the websites. It was one of the things in life that she truly enjoyed.

I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for the outpouring of love and support you've shown since Mom passed away. I have read your posts and received cards from all over the U.S. and other countries. It is amazing the people she knew and touched. Words cannot express the loss I feel, but the cards and words of sympathy have definitely helped with my healing process.

Many have asked about Haley Belle, Sadie and Stormy. Initially when Mom became ill, they had some small adjustment issues. Thankfully now all are doing just fine and have adjusted to life without Mom quite well. I appreciate your concern.

Thank you again for your kindness and sympathy. It is deeply appreciated.

Should I !!!

Dearest friends,

I need your help !!! I am slowly getting over Smokey"s death and I know he would want me to go on. WELL I have been just touched by the love bug ??? Here's the problem. He writes kinda often but ALWAYS signs it Your Friend . What's up with that ??? What would you ALL do !!!
I have been told by one of his friends that he really likes me and not give up but he is very shy !!! Should I continue to write and try to break down that wall OR would you all give up ??? I need your help !!!

This is a very sad diary entry but in memory of my beloved soul mate, my friend, my love and my finance' I feel I need to let you know he is gone. He has been missing since December 27, 2009. It is to painful for his momma to write but I felt his friends should know. Smokey and I had been together way over a year and had been engaged for quite a while so I miss and love him so much it hurts to breathe. He was such a gentleman I don't understand how this could happen but I think it was a tragic ending. Why are humans like that ? His momma and family will always be loved by me and my family but I feel so alone and need help in going on. Please find it in your heart to show love to his family who did not deserve this.My page will remain the same far he was my heart so please go by and see how very much I loved him. 791924

Our extended family !

I know we aren't around much but never forget we love you ALL deeply. You all remember helping us get over the loss of Ghost and the diagnosed diabetes of our fur sis Sadie Mae. Well she has really been up and down and now Monday she has a batteries of tests (8hours) they are 99% sure she has Cushings disease on top of her diabetes so now you know why our momma is kinda down. Way down. So may we please ask for POP for Sadie Mae once again. There are other things going on too just to much to bother you all with.
Please keep us in your prayers, don't forget us and we as always will check in as often as we can.

Update

Morning all precious members,
This is Sherry, momma to Haley Belle, Stormy Lynn and Sadie Mae. Just wanted to come on and give you all an update.
First we ALL want to thank you that have prayed, thought of , lite candles etc for Ghost and Sadie Mae.
Ghost we lost 2 weeks ago today from an unknown tumor. We were treating him for auto immunity disease. While his second set of blood work looked better he continuted to get worse. He was on very strong antibodics and vitamins plus iron but at the end he stopped eating. On the night we made the decesion to stop his pain he was already mouning the death moune and was ready to go to the bridge. I had him since he was 5 weeks old and I will always love miss him. As many of you know he was our 3rd loss in less than a year.
Sadie Mae had always we thought had trouble with her typroid. Wrong ! 5 days after letting go of Ghost she started acting funny. We momma's know these things. So we rushed her to the best specalist hospital in Louisville. She was diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, uninary tract infection and a heart murmur without any signs. She has been through parvo and surgery for bladder stones so was always carefully watched by our vets. After 4 days in the hospital and a $2400, bill she is home !!! She is doing very well on her new diet and her insulin shots and is feeling much better but we still need your prayers because tomorrow (Wednesday) is her first set of blood work since then. After all this I have been very very sad. Dr called it depression so I am working on that too. We will start being off and on but wanted more than anything to Thank you for all the support from you wonderful loving pets and your parents. There is no way to thank you personally but thank you !!!

Ghost update!

Ghost is dehyrated, anemia and a severe URI or it could be Immume Defichency Disease which is like leukemia. We will know in 5 days, He is so very sick so please everyone continue to pray for him. How does a 20 plus pound totally indoor cat get this sick ??? Excuse my spelling I am wiped out !!!

Our feline brother, Ghost, is very sick. Please would every one just say a prayer for him. He is not on catster but momma is putting his pic on our page. We are waiting on the vet to call now. will keep you posted til then please pray. momma can't take losing another.

Flood of 09 Louisville, Ky.

As so many of you know my momma works at our local humane Society and has for 23 years. We had some damage from the flood but our Metro Animal Services was wiped away. They had over 575 dogs and cats that we all helped save and set up a make shift shelter at our local fairgrounds. Unfortunatly they lost 12 cats and 1 dog due to the flooding. It was really really emotional. Momma has always been proud of her organization but even more if that is possible for the help we gave to our local pound.
I am happy to save they are up and running again so things are getting back to normal. Momm's work place was the only ONE opened to take in pets from all over Louisville and offered boarding at our 2 resorts for personal pets during these 3 to 4 days we helped Metro.

WE ARE ENGAGED !!!

My long time Smokey asked me to marry him and of course I said YES. He is the most gentle, sweet handsome hunk I have ever known. He comes from a beautiful family who I love as much as mine. We have not set a date because his Uncle Dog will be marrying Meatball first so we want to wish them the best and congrats and Smokey and I will go from there. Well I wanted to share the wonderful to my extended family here at catster and dogster.
