Lightening stole my heart from the second I layed eyes on him.My kids were playing in the yard and heard what they said was crying coming from the ditch.I went and looked and to my suprise ( and delight ) there was this little fat orange furry kitten all by himself!I already had patches under my back steps nursing her litter ( of which only Thumbelina lived) so I hopefully, set lightening down with her other nursing kittens and she welcomed him as her own, and when she dropped the other kittens with me on my porch she gave me back lightening bug too.Lightening loves all the kids and he will just follow them around the yard, he can come on command and he gives hugs and kisses! he is just so sweet.Lightening is becoming a very big boy!! he is only 10 months old and on last weiegh he was 14 pounds!! We just love him so much and I wish he would be happy being an indoor only cat, but when locked in he cries nonstop and even seems to become lethargic.
