Arrival Story:
Cassie had a litter of kittens and the neighbors were killing them. A good samaritan rescued her and the one surviving kitten and brought her to the shelter.

Bio:
Cassie is well mannered. She will politely wait until you come over to visit with her. You won't have to woo her to get her attention, but she wouldn't mind if you flirted a little. She is affectionate and likes having her soft fur stroked. If you stop petting her, she will gently touch your hand with her big paw to ask you for just a little more. When I first saw Cassie, she was happily rolling in the top of a cat tower. Then I saw that she was enjoying some catnip. She is also a good mouser and bats her toy mouse around like she is playing ice hockey. Cassie is an optimistic kitty who is making the most of shelter life. But think how she would flourish in a real home. You won't find a prettier or more feminine kitty. Cassie is only one year old
