There was a really bad storm here in Cleveland, Ohio this past weekend. I couldn't even sit in the windowsill due to the high winds and rain. It wasn't very pleasant! There were no birdies to spy on and even the squirrel hightailed outta here! I'm glad I'm not an outside cat or I would of gotten soaked. The birds took cover in the pine tree on the corner of the house-nope they were not singin to "raindrops are fallin on my head".
Tinkerbell had to go to the doctor again this week and have her sugar checked. She is loosing more and more of her sight and she keeps stepping on me, rascal and olive. She doesn't play with the birdie as much anymore but we do! I feel bad that she's loosing her sight. I started to cuddle next to her more and more. Our human mommy tells her who is next to her and I know she can tell who it is by our distinguishing smell. I don't pester her as much as Olive and Rascal do. I just like to curl up at the head of the bed and kiss my mommy and stroke her face with my paws. I love to hook her chin and kiss her and she doesn't like it when she's trying to go to sleep! I keep doing it anyway!
I was recently designated as :the furry alarm clock! Boy, I feel so priviledged. When my mommy doesn't get up by the alarm I go and pester her with my paws until she gets up. I sit next to her and stare at her like a vulture and headbutt her face. That usually works and if it doesn't I paw her face and nibble on her chin until she gets up. I love my job and it has its rewards!
Please say a prayer for Tinkerbell my doggie sister!

Just can't stand the heat!!! I love to sit in the windowsill and love to watch the birdies outside eating. I have my own bird to play with (Tweety the Pigeon) but I don't play with him too much because he is in a cage. I don't think he likes to play with me though because at one time when he was in the catcarrier that was mine (mommy didn't have a birdcage then), I crawled inside when he was only a year old and accidentally sliced his belly with my claws.
You should of seen all the food pouring out of his throat. My mommy put first aid ointment on him and thank goodness he healed quickly. I got pecked a few times and from then on I don't play with him too much. Tweety likes to fly over my head though and tantalize me.
I was originally found by a dumpster in downtown Cleveland Ohio in September on Labor day. I was about 3 weeks old when My human mommy rescued me and 2 other kitties and saved us from a giant rat. My mommy took off to get some food and didn't come back! I was saved and then I was raised with 2 cockateils and 2 adult cats. My mommy hand fed me every 2 hours until I got big enought to eat on my own.
I am now 5 years old and was a mother of 5. My mom was a calico. My children were (Misty, Muffin, Olive Oyle, Rascal and another one which didn't make it.) Misty and Muffin were placed in good homes. My 2 children Olive Oyle and Rascal are still with me and they will be 2 years old in September. I also have a dog buddy named Tinkerbell who has been ill and diagnosed with diabetes and has to get insulin shots twice a day. I grew up with Tinkerbell and she was the surrogate mommy to my kittens when I went in to get fixed. We all grew up together a long with the cockateils who passed away in 2006.
I am an indoor kitty and don't go outside. That way I don't get too many fleas. I like desert and anything sweet. My favorite food is tunafish (Friskies) and I love to hook the food off my mommy's plate when she's eating meat. I also love to lay on my human mommy's neck and head when she's trying to sleep. I always have to touch her nose or face with my paws and chew on her chin. My mom doesn't like that too much!
