Grandma ordered some books for Mommy's classroom (future classroom) and in the order were three Skippyjon Jones books just for me!! Yay!! I'm so excited! I had a friend tell me I should read about Skippyjon (I think it was Bella and Kingsley) when I first came home but Mommy hadn't gotten one of his books for me yet. But now I have three! I can't wait for Mommy to read them to me! Mommy just read the first one (while I was busy playing with Harry) to see what they're like and she loved it! She said Skippyjon and I are a lot alike - I don't know if this is good or bad yet - I will have to wait and see when Mommy reads it to me!! :-)
Harry just wrote about Mommy and Granddad going to the National Capital Cat Show this past Saturday. I just wanted to add one thing.
Not sure if everyone knows - but this past Sunday was "Grandparent's Day"! So, while at the show, Mommy and Granddad got Grandma a present from me and Harry. It is a shirt that says "My Grandkids have paws" and it has pawprints and a picture of a kitty on it. We went ahead and gave it to Grandma on Saturday - and she loved it!! She even wore it on Sunday and then told everyone about it when she was at work on Monday!! :-)
The other night, Mommy was holding me and giving me hugs and kisses. Grandma went to give Harry a treat and all of a sudden I was "Squawking" at Mommy and batting her on the nose and acting like I was going to bite her on the nose, too! I scared her really bad! Her and Granddad didn't know what was going on, until Grandma went to put the treats away and I followed her with my eyes and tried to get down out of Mommy's arms.
They think that I had been trying to get to the treats, too - but Mommy was in my way! Granddad started laughing and told Mommy that she should know better to stand in my way when it comes to food now! He was so right! I wasn't trying to be mean to Mommy - I just wanted a treat!
Mommy said I sound like a bird from some movie called "Babes in Toyland" when I was squawking and Granddad said I sounded like a parrot!! MOL
