The good, the bad, and the ugly...

The Good:
- I was chosen Catster's Diary of the Day!
- I was able to gets lots of feedback on what smartphone meowmy should get that's Catster friendly...meowmy's now leaning toward that IPhone thingy which was a big surprise.
- I got lots of well wishes fur being DOTD.
- It seems lots of my furriends still remember me.

The Bad:
- Meowmy got home too late from soccer and I only have a few minutes here in Catsterland to give my thanks to all my furriends... A big collective thank mew! I hope to have more time later this week to sit meowmy down to give a proper thanks!
- Meowmy needs some time to save money so she can upgrade to a new Catster friendly smartphone so this tragedy of being significantly Catsterless will continue fur a while more.

The Ugly:
- Have you seen that silly Christmas jacket meowmy has me wearing in my profile picture? :-/
- The crazy face my big sisfur, Alexis, has because **I** was chosen as Catster DOTD... She can't be mad because she had all the Catster time in the world when meowmy's job still allowed Catster at work! ((GIGGLES)) You all should see her face though... I don't think her boyfriend, Peppers, would even "appurreciate" it. MOL!

Thanks Catster's fur choosing me DOTD! it gave me a chance to have another day to have a voice in here and I thoroughly appurciate it!

Missing all of mew!

Well meowlo my furriends! I sure do hope you still rememfur me, but if not I can totally understand because it HAS been an awfully long time since I've visited! :-/

Anywho, I really want to say thanks to all my furriends who left Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's wishes fur me and my furmaly! We sure do appreciate you thinking of us and rememfuring us despite the fact that we're not really around here too much. Although it's a bit late, we wish you a furry happy new year full of nothing but the best! We hope you all enjoyed your holidays with your pawrents home and that Santa Paws gave you some great stuff! :-)

In case you are wondering why we have been MIA, it's because my meowmy's (BKA "typist") job blocked Catster from their computers. This was really the only time I ever had a voice because my meowmy always has so much going on during the weekends and doesn't like to spend anymore time behind a puter after work. We hope to find another way to access Catster during the day, but if not, we're going to try our best to log on when time permits.

On another note, do any of you have good recommendations for smartphones? My meowmy has a Windows 6.0 phone so she needs to update to a new one. Do you all know if the new Droids, Iphones, and even better Windows 7.0/7.1 phones support Catster? I really miss my furriends here and want to be able to play with you all again!

Now that I have gathered myself...

Well I didn’t make quite a furry good impression earlier today, now did I? I was a bumbling kitty with nothing of substance to say so I’m sorry. How am I expected to react when I am bestowed such an honor as COTD and my meowmy barely even gives me the time of day in Catsterland ((glaring at meowmy))?! Anywho, it’s OK meowmy! Obviously, 2 diary entries in 1 day makes up fur it, right? I just have to make sure my meowmy keeps up with her priorities! MOL!

So something of substance to say??? Hmmmm…

One of my faffurite rescues, the Blind Cat Rescue and Sanctuary, is in the midst of a great project. Over the past several months they have been doing every and anything to raise $90K to raise the roof of their new FIV/FEL+ house. They beliEVE they can do it and have actually started construction despite still being $30K short. This is where we come in! They have several contests that they are in to help close the gap so I am asking all of my furriends and new furriends who may be visiting my page fur the first time to please:

1) Vote fur the Blind Cat Rescue in St. Pauls, NC efurryday at the Shelter Challenge on The Animal Rescue Site

2) Vote fur Sugar Bear (Entrant #114810) effury day in voting period 9 in the Bissell MVP Contest. The more BCR affiliated kitties win, the higher chance BCR could win $10K!

3) Fur those whose pawrents do the hoomin Catster thingy (BKA Facebook), please ask them to please “Like” Walkie Way and type “Blind Cat Rescue” on their wall. It will help BCR to win $1K.

4) If your pawrents have spare change or if you kitties want to sacrifice a few extra treats, please ask your pawrents to just donate a few dollars directly to the Blind Cat Rescue. $30K is a lot to raise, but with all the loving furs I’m sure we can raise the roof to ensure more kitties receive the love we all deserve!

OMC!!!! REALLY?!?!?!

ME! COTD?! REALLY?! ME?! I'm so surprised! Ummmm...
I have no idea what to say!!! First, Teddy Bearz asks me to be his girl, then I become the Kitties' Club March Cat of the Month, then THIS?! I'm not Irish, but I sure do have some good luck this month huh?!

I still dunno what to say so let me try to collect my thoughts and get back to you, OK? I really not just a purrty face, I do have some meaningful insight to provide... I swear!

Well how about that?!

So most of you may not even read this diary entry, but those who do HAVE TO KNOW that I furry rarely efur get the time of day here in Catsterland. Between ALL my meowmy's excuses, fur some reason my older sisfur, Alexis, and my woofer brofur, Ernie, get the time to play and catch up with furriends while I as the middle child am furgotten about. :-(

WELL... meowmy felt SOOOO guilty when 2 fancatulous things happened!!!

1) I won't name any names yet, but one of Samoa's famous dreamboats asked ME... ME to be his girl! I want to maybe wait until he mentions it, but he's such a good catch! Besides being a "dreamboat" we have so much in common! He's the quiet one of the furmaly so doesn't get to meow out as much here in Catsterland. You can say he's the strong, silent, and wise type so I must say Samoa made a great pick because he is furry dreamy! And I... yes I am HIS girl! HOW ABOUT THAT, Alexis and Ernie?!

2) I am the Kitties' Club's March Kitty of the Month!!! What a honor!!! When I do get my time in Catsterland, I ALWAYS enjoy playtime with my pals in TKC. If you aren't in the group, you should definitely consider joining us! Anywho... my sisfur is the one who gets all the honors (she was once a DDP, she was a PAWS Angel spotlight memfur of the month...), but now LOOK AT ME!!! Thankees so furry much Twixy and all my furriends at TKC!!! I loves you all so furry much and am so happy to call you all furriends! :-D

My 3rd birthday weekend!!!

So I just turned 3 years old this past, Thursday, August 26th. Fur some reason my meowmy always seems to furget as she always has the 28th stuck in her head. She felt really bad when my goodest furriend, Oreo, in the Furriends of BCR group sent me happy birthday wishes so BIGGEST thank mews dearest Oreo and my friends at BCR! Luckily, my meowmy guilts furry easily so when she got home that night, I got EXTRA treats and warm cuddles. My meowmy didn't even mind that I wanted to step all ofur her in the middle of the night with my rotundular 14 lbs frame. MOL!

Since my meowmy had the 28th still stuck in her head, we had a little celepurration on Saturday! She gave me 2 new toys and of course MORE TREATS!!! She took a few photos of me which I hope she posts! Just don't hold your breathe because you know how meowmy's can be! They are all about using that flashy thing to disrupt a kitty's nap, but they take FOREFUR to share the model photos. MOL!

Anywho, in addition to Oreo and my furriends at BCR, I want to send extra special thank mews to the below fur sending me special gifties and birthday wishes! My brofur, Ernie, and sisfur, Alexis, ALWAYS hog up the Catster time so it's the bestest knowing that my furriends still think of me. BIGGEST Abby hugs and purries to you all!

- My furriends at The Kitties Club fur sending me lots of loves and birthday wishes;
- TweeKee PAWS & the whole NE NY crew for my birthday hat... I wore it ALL weekend long! :-)
- The Bush Furs for the super cute hamster with a cake. After I swallowed the cake, me and the hamster became fast furriends until my woofer brofur scared him away!
- Perla fur the pink cuppy cake. You must know how food is the way to my heart because I ate it really fast and couldn't even share with my fursibs. MOL!
- Miss Sable Kitty PAWS fur anofur pink cuppy cake. I celepurrated ALLLLLL weekend long with nothing ut sweets. :-)
- Adam Dylan, Pie, and their FAM fur the summer beach balls. I was able to enjoy all my treats and cakes healthily because I was able to get lots of exercise with those balls. :-)
- The Bell Babez and Mr. Sam fur the hearts. You guys have my heart too fur being such sweet furriends!

1. When meowmy & daddy adopted me, they were told that I would always be a sneezy kitten because I was prone to URIs, however, my new VET says I actually have allergies. I’ve taken new meds when I get sneezy and I feel SOOOO much better. WOOOOO WHO!

2. I have the BEST eyes in the house! I can see the faintest glimmer of light and go crazy when I do… I just love it when meowmy’s earrings glimmer in the sun, but I LOOOOVE the laser pointer even more!

3. You can say I have passive aggressive behavior… I am the BIGGEST cuddler 1 minute (being a lap cat a lapping up loves or cuddling up to my woofer brofur) but want to literally scratch and bite your face off if you get too close. Hey, I just need my personal time every now and then. MOL!

I'm always thankfur for this month because 2 years ago, my meowmy and daddy brought me home to my fureffur always loving home. Efur since, I've been surrounded by love and know that I must thank God fur effurything because He always provides.

#2: Describe the Thanksgiving dinner of your dreams!

As you can see by my curvacious physique, I don't descriminate on any food so I am not at all picky. MOL! My Thanksgiving dinner of my dreams would be one where all my furmaly and furriends are happy and sharing together all the wonderfur yummies.

#3: To whom do you dedicate this Thanksgiving? What special furriend are you remembering this year?

I dedicate this Thanksgiving to all furs who are not well or whose hearts are hurting. There is always a bright side and always something to be thanksfur for. Furriends are always there to put their paws in purrayer... me included... and there is lots of power in purr! :-)

My time in the sunshine!

It may have been a furry cloudy day today, but I'm one of Catster's Daily Diary Picks!

Sunshine shone on me when Angel Buddie sent me an official message this morning of behalf of the angels. He even told me that Angel Ricki was going to keep special watch ofur me because tuxies must stick toghther! That has got to be the best reward efur... my sisfur was a daily diary pick a few months ago and she didn't get an Angel o tHANKS cALVINffur to look after her like I did! Thankees so much Ricki!!!

So I really want to write something meaningfulr on this furry special day so first I'll start by saying that from this day forward, I will be sure to live my life in a furry PAWsitive way! Dear Calvin of "all about" famousness (is that even a word) sadly crossed the bridge a few days ago. However, instead of saying how much he's going to miss his furriends and furmaly here, he focused on the pawsitive. He's always been one about being pawsitive so in memory of his life here on earth, I'm going to be All About being pawsitive! Thanks Calvin fur showing how classy kitties need to be. We'll mis you, but know you'll have some much more wisdom and wit to share from the bridge!

On another pawsitive note, I just have to tell you all about how great it has been this past year or so I have been on Catster! The meowmy of kitty of international fame, Alfiechinacat, came to my house yesterday and stayed with us until this afternoon. She was furry furry nice and I miss her already. But what I wanted to say is that, there is no other place in this world where people (our typists) from all ofur the world can meet more nice, more furriendly people. Our meowmies and daddies may be crazy kitty/woofer people, but maybe people need to be a little loony to let themselves go and learn to love other people so true humanity can shine through.

So to close, let's all love one another the same way, the Big Kitty loves us. Let's always keep it pawsitive like so many of the greats before us, like Sweet Calvin, have!
