Captain Corey

He sailed away
for a year and a day
to the land where the Bong Tree grows.
And there in the wood
a Piggywig stood
with a ring at the end of his nose, his nose.
With a ring at the end of his nose.

Captain Corey left pawprints in our heart forever. He spent the day lying on the pink fuzzy blankey in a patch of sunshine on the softest part of the bed, with his best friend Bela snuggled next to him. We hugged him and loved him and said our farewells, and then we let him go.
