Arrival Story:
Magnus' owner lived in the same apartment complex we did and had died under tragic circumstances in October of 2005. When the owners' next of kin came to clean out all the personal effects, Magnus was left behind in the apartment. He was found there by the complex manager; she knew we "liked cats" and contacted us to see if we could take him. After waffling a little bit--we already had Cyrus and weren't sure how they'd get along--we decided to take him in. Magnus was dirty and crawling with fleas--which we didn't realize at first. It took a lot of work to get him, Cyrus, and our apartment de-fleaed. Magnus has been with us since then. He's now a beautiful affectionate cat we call our "Wal-Mart Greeter" as he comes out and says hello to all visitors.
