I wanted a kitty for christmas, so a few weeks before, we went to the animal shelter to look for a kitten. There were all sorts of kittens I wanted, but as soon as we went to smokey's cage, his little paw reached out for me and baped be on the hip. He was an older cat, so he had been there longer, so I wasn't sure if I wanted him. On his cage it read "He's a very sweet cat!" and that just clenched it for me. I took him out of his cage, and as soon as I did, he cuddled into my shoulder and PURRED really loudly :). Since then, he's been a wonderful part of my life

Today lots of people were over at the house. I have NO Idea why, but they were EVERYWHERE. Three of the youngest fleshmonkeys kept bothering me, and making more of their hooting than I care while I was trying to sleep. Luckally slave monkey number 1 (the youngest) was nice enough to tell them to leave me alone, but she too played a part in her evil schemes-she kept trying to pick me up later that evening. I got a scratch in, though. Ha. That'll teach her.
Now I am about to go bite the male monkey's toes while he tries to read.
Silly humans. Merely my toys.
