Leave a treat for Droopy-Mayday Birthday: April 10th 2008 Arrival Story: Droopy was born in a fox hole in our basement. We think her father is Bosco, a local Tom who talks too much. MayDay, our working farm queen, is her mother. Bio: That's all we know. She's been born into a hard life working outside, but unlike most farms we provide veterinary care, toys and heated shelter in the winter months so our cats live a full life. Since she was born here she has been learning which sounds and smells on our property are dangerous from day one so she will be well-prepared to start work in a few weeks.
Cat hunting and roadside hunting are legal in South Dakota so we've been trying to limit our breeding cats to those with good camouflage and we spend a lot of time turning them into homebodies who aren't prone to wander into ditches. As you can see, Droopy is perfectly attired for her work.
I wish there was another way to get rid of mice and vermin on a farm but the next best mousetrap to cats is skunks and no one wants THOSE moving in. We city folk found that out the hard way. *PHEW* I've Been On Catster Since:
