indoors Arrival Story: I was visiting my Mom one evening and this little dirty orange kitten came wandering up onto the carport. There was always a lot of strays roaming around where my Mom lived since it was a retirement community and everyone fed anything that wandered through including the alligators! This was a problem because there were more stray cats than anyone could take care of. Once the kitten saw us she started meowing and purring like crazy. My Mom said, " Awh that cute little kitty wants a home." My husband was with me and started beggin me, "Don't pet that cat, please, don't pet the cat!" He knew the moment I touched the kitten I was in love and had to have her. Bio: Baby used to be very tempermental. She would be really nice and friendly to you then around and bite you one you touched her. With 3 other male cats in the house, she pretty much is in charge. She has mellowed with age becoming very loving and affectionate. She gets up on your lap and just falls against you rubbing her head and purring like mad. She gives lots of warm kisses. and is an excellent foot warmer. Sometimes she goes under the blanket and sleeps for 6 hours without ever coming out once. She does not like strangers and always runs and hides when ever anyone comes over that she doesn't know. I think she believes they may be with the pound and she hides so they can't find her.
