Arrival Story:
When we first got Sam from the local pound he was about 4 weeks old (even though they told us he was 8 weeks). He was really sick and spent about 4 days constantly on my shoulder. Due to that, he's extremely affectionate (when he wants to be) and god forbid you ignore him when he wants attention. Normally it is on his own terms and not your own.
Bio:
Sam is about 2 months younger than Max, and is typically getting his butt kicked. However, this is more often due to the fact that he is so laid back, that he doesn't want to fight. When Sam does want to wrestle, you can hear Max screaming all the way to the mailbox. Sam is our little Mike Tyson (without the ear biting thing).
He also won't drink from the water bowl. It has to be the bathroom faucet or the tub faucet when we are taking showers. Recently, however, we managed to buy him one of those water fountains for cats. He seems to like it just fine and we know when to clean it out because he'll stand by it and meow angrily.
He's also almost always got his tail in that umbrella handle shape as in the picture below.
Sam is also positive for FHV. All of the vaccines we gave him as a kitten didn't work. So, we are constantly struggling with him and eye infections. Right now he has one that will not go away! It's awful most of the time, because the eye drops we have to give him are pretty painful for him. But, he is a little trooper and always wants to cuddle after eyedrops. Poor guy!!
