A big basket of toys from which to choose, including crinkle balls and furry mice. These can be soccered around corners to land purrfectly at my target's feet.
Favorite Nap Spot:
The bed, sofa and front porch on hot days. Especially I like Boyfriends chest. Sometimes I sleep in the back of the printer drawer.
Favorite Food:
Bonita flakes. I also enjoy butter and Trader Joes' Natural Treats.
Skills:
The wake-up 'claw': a single claw will gently tap your shoulder to wake you up. It will pull the sheet back first if it is in the way. I can also hear the dinner whistle from far away, so I know to come home.

Arrival Story:
She showed up pregnant and found the door-flap to the furnace shed in the dead of winter.
The warmest place to have her kittens in town. After a bit too much attention, she moved yhe kits to the garage. From here we stole them out one day when she went hunting. Then we lured her into the kitchen where we had the kits waiting in a blanket lined tub. After we gave the kittens away, Essie hung around and slowly became more comfortable coming inside for a meal. Soon she was sleeping on the bed and wearing rhinestone collars. She still isn't a real people or cat lover, and just likes to hang out with the Boyfriend and I.
