Things are great here with my Human. She's away at work a lot, but I have tons of toys to entertain myself until she gets home... then it's snuggle time!! Especially when she's trying to do something on her laptop... the keyboard is a great place to rest my butt! She pretends to be annoyed, but I know she doesn't really mind. Oh, but she DOES mind when I wander in front of the television and block her view while playing Guitar Hero! That's the only time she yells, heehee! I pretty much try to sit on her any chance I can. Sometimes I even wash her hands for her (aka. lick her fingers until they feel raw).
My newest favorite place to nap is on the Human's suitcase. She's too lazy to put it back in the closet, so it's my kitty bed now.
I'm quite happy with the New Human! She snuggles with me anytime I want (which is often during the wee hours of the morning). Whenever she returns from being away at work, I go crazy and play with all my toys so she can see how happy I am to have her home! And she recently brought home a big chair for the living room, so now I have an easy way to climb up to the window where I can curl up in my fluffy bed and watch the birds on the neighbor's fence.
Hi, fellow felines! Today is my first full day in my new home with my New Human! I arrived last night and didn't feel shy at all--I had a great time exploring my new territory! All the attention was great... My Previous Human and her sister slept overnight on the floor, but I chose to cuddle up to the New Human in her big comfy bed. I think I kinda kept her awake by walking across her pillow repeatedly. But it made her giggle, so I guess it's alright. When she got up to get ready for work, I followed her around the apartment purring so loudly that she was afraid I'd wake the others sleeping in the living room!! I had to be alone while the New Human was away, so I decided to to claim the space under the bed for myself--it feels safe down there. I was really glad when she got home. We both stretched out on the living room floor and I got lots of pets. Then the Human got out a little flashy box and took lots of pictures of me!
Things seem good so far! ... But I'm still going to hang out under the bed for awhile.
