It's My 31st Birthday ATB Today!!

I've been at the Bridge for 11 years now and would have been 31 years old today!

Mum still thinks about me often and I saw her looking at my picture today. I know tonight she'll be lighting a pretty candle for me, as she does with all our angel family on our birthdays and Bridge dates. Love you mum!

I call her mum, but really I have 2 mums! I was a birthday present for mum's daughter Louise when she was 9 years old. She loved me very much too!! There's a picture of Louise and I on my page.

Louise now has her much-loved kitties Titch and Bruce but I know she'll never forget me - her first one!!

I don't want any gifts. We're a large family and mum likes to record all our birthdays/memorial dates. We're stopping giving gifts too (when mum's zealies have run out) and have decided to donate the money to our local Rescue Centre instead!

Remembering Trixie Today!

It's your official Birthday today Trixie and we all hope you're having a wonderful party at the Bridge with your angel brofurs, sisfurs and all the other sweet angels!

It seems such a long time since we were together - you've been at the Bridge for 10 years now but I still think of you often.

Remembering Trixie

I just found a copy of this poem and thought it would be appropriate for Trixie's first diary entry.

Her Journey's Just Begun

Don't think of her as gone away
her journey has just begun
life holds many facets
the Earth is only one

Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years

Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away

And think of her as living
In the hearts of those she touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
And she was loved so much.
