Arrival Story:
After my kitty Vader passed away, I waited a long time to bring a new kitty into our home. For my 16th birthday, my parents let me get one. We went to the shelter, and I had in mind to get a calmer kitty, and I found Arwen, whose name was originally Nori. She had been treated horribly be her previous owners; she was 6 months old, thin, with a little rat tail and a cold. When I picked her up, she just sat on my chest and purred away and I knew I had to have her. Now, she is very healthy, is very imprinted on me, and has picked up many of my habits and personality traits. I'm very happy with her. We definitely recommend shelter cats to anyone looking!
