indoors Arrival Story: I lost my home and was taken in by the Stray Animal Adoption Program. My foster Mom was really nice so I would rub up against her. There were a lot of cats and dogs around too. They all seemed so nice. After a few weeks my foster Mom told me I was going to stay with her!! So now my foster Mom is my Mom! Yes, I'm Mom's foster failure but she has fostered many animals, cats and dogs, and she lets go. I'm just that damn good. (2/24/2009) My hu-brother, Jayce, moved into a place of his own and I'm going to go live with him! I'm so excited because he always gave me lots of love and attention. I guess Mom wasn't so much of a foster failure after all! Bio: I'm a great big ball of fluff and I like everyone. I'm not shy at all. The dogs don't bother me either, sometimes I rub up against them. Lives Remaining: 9 of 9 Forums Motto: Just call me Fabio!
We had a "security breech" in the house. There is a hole in the basement door screen and somehow, the door didn't get closed all the way. The garage door was open during this time cause our automatic opener broke.
Mom and her daughter found and lured back in all the cats except Yeti and Sammy. We had seen Yeti around but he is a scardy cat so he kept running away but we hadn't seen Sammy. Mom was real concerned see even used up all her printer ink making flyers. Wouldn't you know on that exact day Mom's daughter came home from shopping and told he she had a Sammy sighting. He was hiding behind the front bushes.
Mom ran out and starting creeping behind the boxwood and then she saw him. He looked scared and ready to run so she gently called my name, "Sammy my man, come here you handsome fella". We'll that made me feel better and I got up and went to rub against Mommy's legs.
She picked me up and took me in and I was very happy to be home. I rubbed up against all the dogs and anything else I could rub against. I'm not like Casanova who gets out on a regular basis and hangs out just out of reach. I was scare and I hadn't eatin for days.
I think Yeti is still outside but he's hanging around the house. Only Mom's daughter will be able to get him.
We all have special guests in our home. Mom brought home a Kitty Mama and her five kittens on May 14th. We get to foster these kittens until they are old enough to be put up for adoption. Mom is really excited since she hasn't had a Momcat and her kittens since last years litter of 7. Mom says they became a real handful running about and doing kitten stuff. Mom gets to name these kittens but she says she won't name them until they are bigger and their personalities show. Mom thinks she is going to make a catster page just for them so she can share all the fun stuff.
Mom cat is really nice and doesn't mind anyone coming in to give her a hand with the kittens. They are in the closet of the spare bedroom right now but in a week or so Mom with let Mom cat out for a break. She snuck out once and mom found her in the living room with the dogs like she owned the place so she isn't worried about Mom and the rest of the family. Chessie can't wait until he can help mother the kittens. Mom will probably let him in to see Mom and kittens before everyone else.
