Peeing everywhere!!!

We've been confined to a room. We've been going to the bathroom in places other than the litterbox. Mom and Sis put us in crates for awhile but as soon as we were let go we went peeing again.

To give Mom credit she's fixed it up with a cat tree and other cat toys.

Mocha, Chessie, Yeti, Casanova, Tasso are all in the room. Yeti is spraying, we don't know how to fix that. He was "fixed" when he was a kitten.

Our Special Guests

We all have special guests in our home. Mom brought home a Kitty Mama and her five kittens on May 14th. We get to foster these kittens until they are old enough to be put up for adoption. Mom is really excited since she hasn't had a Momcat and her kittens since last years litter of 7. Mom says they became a real handful running about and doing kitten stuff. Mom gets to name these kittens but she says she won't name them until they are bigger and their personalities show. Mom thinks she is going to make a catster page just for them so she can share all the fun stuff.

Mom cat is really nice and doesn't mind anyone coming in to give her a hand with the kittens. They are in the closet of the spare bedroom right now but in a week or so Mom with let Mom cat out for a break. She snuck out once and mom found her in the living room with the dogs like she owned the place so she isn't worried about Mom and the rest of the family. Chessie can't wait until he can help mother the kittens. Mom will probably let him in to see Mom and kittens before everyone else.

Our new pawsome page and the IE bug

If you use Internet Explorer and have stopped by our pages only to not be able to see any thing give Gypsy's diary a read. IE had a bug which kept it from seeing the same thing as Mom saw in Firefox.

Mom says sorry, she should have been checking IE. She knows better than to assume it reads CSS correctly.

Whewww... Mom finally got done changing all our profiles. She customized each one for our personality or name.

Gypsy got puppies because she is so motherly.

Duke got food because he really really loves it.

Jojo got flowers because Jojo's Mom liked the background (thanks Lucy).

Poker got Frank Sinatra because he has blue eyes and is so handsome.

Tasso got little kitty Maine Coons because Mom couldn't think of something really timid (she didn't think it would be too flattering)

Boo got a "Does not play well with others" design because she doesn't.

Chessie got the king of hearts because he is just a lover boy and is the king of love.

Loki got a big ole tom cat because he thinks he is tough.

Mocha got a luscious cup of Mocha with a heart.

Sammy has a doctored up picture of Fabio (a must see, it is hilarious).

Casanova has Heath Ledger as Casanova. So sad.

Autumn Ann has lovely autumn leaves against a blue sky

Yeti has a goofy looking yeti.

Mercedes got diamonds since she is so regal.

Smoky's stayed the same since his is our little Rainbow Bridge kitten.

I hope everyone likes the new pages and will comment in our message box. Mom either made or modified all our backgrounds and made them tiling so you can't see a seam. Let's all give a hurrah for Mom for doing all the work for us.

A sad, sad day

Steve has passed. It happened so quickly, so suddenly. I will miss my playmate. Steve feared nothing, which, at the end was his downfall. Steve had found his way upstairs. We did not want to cage Steve, he was happy having the basement as his domain. Even when he started venturing upstairs. Steve had one run in with the dogs but Mom saved him. We had hoped that incident/lesson would keep him in the basement since predators roamed above. We were even attempting to socialize the dogs. Mom and Sis didn't do it in time. So quick, So tragic. It was too late. Mom heard it. She told H-sis to go quickly, but it wasn't quick enough, not this time.

Steve was a free rat. He slept with my H-sis and Josie along with any cats that climbed on the bed. We could not cage him. He would have been miserable. He did live a very happy life.

I will miss my playmate. We can be seen in my video. Mom and H-sis will always remember him.

Steve, why did you have to be so brave?

None of my friends that I tagged wrote in their diary. I'm sad.

April Fools Worm Emerges

I just heard on Global News that there is a very sophisticated "worm" that will be hazardous to your pets on April 1st. Apparently it latches on to unreliable websites the flows thorough your computer cables to piles in the back yard.

"As long as you've patched or at least brought your antivirus software up to speed, you should be fine," said Chris Pirillo, a tech expert for CNN.com.

And there are plenty of dewormers available.

"I believe just about everybody out there," Pirillo said, "has a removal tool."

Still, the worm could cause problems, he said.

I'd have to say the ones you can put sparklies on. They glitter so hypnotically.

Would you rather be a bunny or a chick?
I've met some bunnies and they were very soft and fluffy. I think I would like to be a bunny so I could do a better job of keeping Mom's feet warm.

How many Easter eggs do you think you'll find when you get to hunt them at your house?
I'm pretty sure the dogs will find (and eat) them all before we can even get to them. Mom assures me that she'll put some in the cat room too so the dogs can't get them. Gluttonous animals, those dogs.

What kind of Easter basket are you hoping for?
I want one with that plastic grass that I can drag all over the house.

1. I'm the prettiest kitty in the house (in my opinion). I have some red showing up but you can really see it in my pictures.

2. Mom drove all the way to Indiana to pick me up because she thought I was so pretty. She saw my ad on Craigslist.

My adventure.

I was in this carrier takin' a nap when Mom stuck one of the foster kittens in it. I didn't mind, I like company. I napped with him for awhile but then I felt the carrier moving. I was a litter frightening. Mom got in and the metal thing moved! Mom was inside so I wasn't concerned.

Mom took the carrier out after awhile. She looked inside and discovered I had stowed away. She laughed, guess she thought it was funny.

Translation from Mom:

Mocha stowed away in one of the carriers that I was taking foster kittens up to the Petsmart cat room. My daughter had carried the carriers out to the car and did not notice the weight difference (what!?). When I picked the crate up out of the car to take it in I noticed how heavy the crate was for a little kitten. I looked in an was surprised to see Mocha who had apparently been in the carrier when I put the kitten in. She never said a thing.
