Arrival Story:
Cow and Bahji were born in a garage at a auto repair shop a litter of 7. We decided to get two of them so they could keep each other company since Tipper probably wouldn't take to well to newcomers. (mostly she murgles and ignores them so far) a couple friends went with us and ended up adopting two as well (names Snicker and Charlie) They were VERY dirty when we got them from being around all the grease and dirt. When I gave them a flea bath there was a thick layer of grime across the bottom of my tub.

Cow is more shy and skiddish and is afraid of fast movements and loud noises but once you have ahold of her and she's close to you she'l snuggle into your armpit and usually fall asleep purring. She hasn't quite mastered meowing yet and squeaks intead. Bahji is more adventurous and will probably be a troublemaker when he gets older. He eats a lot. He likes to play with his blankie and snuggle (and harass) his sister. Bahij has a very well tuned motor and purrs VERY loudly and meows loudly too.

Velcro kitteh

So the kittens got a cat tree yesterday, it's designed to be 8 ft tall but I made it into two 4 foot tall trees instead so there'd be no risk of them falling and hurting themselves. They're a lil nervous at the top of the 4 footer anyhow. They like to cling to the sides of the posts like velcro so today I've been calling them Velcro Kittehs.
They are becoming much more adjusted to our home and will run across the room to see us when we go to play with them. We still have them secluded to one room for three reaons:
1. they're not vaccinated yet, they have an appointment on the 31st to do so and I dont' want them transfering anything to Tipper if they have anything.
2. They're still pretty tiny and I don't want them crawlinfg into anything where they could get hurt, when Tipper was a baby she accidently got swept up under the recliner when My hubby but the footrest back in(she was ok), that scarred the daylights outa me and I dont want anything like that to happen again, or worse.
3. Tipper isn't tottaly acclimated to them yet, they've sniffed under the door and looked at each other from across the room but she is still adjusting, she used to hiss right away but now she mumbles a bit and then either hisses or walks away so she's slowly improving.

Once they've got they're shots and grow a little more and Tipper is more used to them they can have free roam of the house. They room they're in now is decently big enugh, it's the biggest room in the basement so there's lotsa room to run and play and they have toys and their tree and food, water and litter of course, also their blankie bed which they love.

It's so sweet, they will crawl into bed and pull at the blankies to cover themselves up. Sometimes they sleep on their backs with their lil feets in the air.

Bahji has been battling a lil eye infection of some sort, but today it's looking much better, less pink and watery. One of his siblings went to the vet with the same symptoms and the vet said to just watch it and come back if it got worseor persisted. So to save of vet bills we're doing the same with Bahji seeing as it's very likely that they ahve the same thing. I'm glad he's improving and hopefully it'll be all gone by the end of the week.

Cow hasn't had any medical toruble yet (paws crossed) he likes to chase his tail and he sucks on the end of it when he's sleepy. so silly. I'm fairly certian that Cow is a boy, he has a fluffy bum and wont sit still so it's sorta hard to tell but Bahji is no denying his boy-ness, his fur is shorter and he lies on his back a lot with all his lil legs sprawled out.

Well Tipper has just come to tell me that it's time to pay attention to her and is activll trying to block the key board. Wi ll wriet more later.
