Birthday: March 16th 2008 Likes: They like to snuggle in their heated bed, play on the mini cat trees that are in 'their' room, play with each other and stare at my dog in mock horror :) They like Bandit now, and will curl up and sleep with him when/if he is on the bed :) Pet-Peeves: I can't think of ANY! Shayna gets annoyed if she isn't allowed to nurse on our lips or chin! ACK! Favorite Toy: Each other and furry mice and the turbo scratcher, the cat trees and playing crunchy hockey down the stairs Favorite Nap Spot: The heated bed, one of the little cat trees, and on me :) On the top level of the big cat tree. In the linen closet Favorite Food: Royal Canin kitten crunchies and Performatrin Ultra crunchies and their fav wet is Performatrin Ultra Chicken Stew - Denzel won't eat any other wet. indoors Arrival Story: Shayna and Denzel were brought into the North Toronto Cat Rescue where I volunteer with their mother and 3 other furblings. Their mama (Sally) became sick and her milk dried up :( I brought them home to foster and syringe/bottle feed. What an incredible experience THAT was! Sadly, three of their furblings became sick and went to the bridge. Their names were Spike, Teddy and Kira. All three of them were sweet, adorable and affectionate babies. We are not sure what made them so ill, but the vet thinks it was some type of nasty virus. Shayna and Denzel also became ill, but spent 2-3 days at the vet's on IV fluids. This and the concerned and gentle care of the John Street Animal Hospital in Thornhill saved them. Shayna and Denzel are now back home with me until they are old enough and strong enough to be adopted :)
