We had been looking for a friend for Cloud, our Siamese, and one day we stumbled across a post online from a lady who couldn't keep the three kittens she had. She said if they didn't find homes before the weekend, they were going to the pound. I fell in love with the calico's picture, and agreed to take one home. The lady brought the calico, and Baby Kairi. I was having a hard time choosing between the two gorgeous kittens, and my husband just said "Ok, we'll take both."
Bio:
From the first day she came home, Kairi has been a sweetheart who loves to sleep with us or her siblings. She has a huge appetite, and is definitely a lap kitty. Kairi was named after my favorite video game, Kingdom Hearts. Her brother Cloud, and sister Yuffie are also named after video games. She is the baby of the entire family, everyone takes special care with this tiny little girl. ***Baby Kairi passed away tonight. She was breathing really shallow, listless, and hadn't eaten since morning. I called my husband to get off work so we could go to the emergency, but it was too late. I don't know why, or how yet. Just a member of the Mitten Family is in Cat Heaven. She had her mom, brother and sister all at her side, letting her know how much we love her.****

Last night I had to leave my family for a while. Everyone was really sad to see me go away. My sister kept sleeping on me, trying to keep me warm. Cloud licked me, so I would be extra pretty on my trip, and momma was next to me, telling me about all the cool adventures I would have, and how she'll see me soon.
I miss my family though, even if my siblings did bug me sometimes. That's what siblings are for.
It's okay though. There's lots and lots of nice kitties up here. I've made sooooo many friends. Momma was telling me how she met a lot of nice kitties on catster, and how I have friends to play with until I see her.
Momma also wanted me to let you guys know how awesome everyone is here. She was really sad about my beautiful self leaving, but I'm glad she has nice cats and cat people to make her smile. So thanks everyone, for the kind words. My momma really needed to be cheered up.
In a few days time, I'm going to know my place around here so well, I'm going to show the new kitties around Rainbow Bridge. Hopefully I can make them feel as at home as you guys did.
