Arrival Story:
Sadie is 100% blind and has no optic nerves (the doctors think it's a birth defect). I first met Sadie at Pet Savers, a local rescue. She was found going around in circles in the middle of the street and had licked her hair off from mid-tummy back from stress and was very thin. She's such a sweet, affectionate and good girl and deserves to have a good home! I'm so happy she's joined my fur-family!
Bio:
Sadie's so smart and relies on her other senses, her whiskers are her "white canes" and it never takes her long to learn. She loves to play and has many toys that make noise. Sadie loves to carry her squishy toy in her mouth and cry (howl) loudly like she's bringing a mouse for dinner. She knows the layout of our home perfectly and even runs (cautiously) at times.

I have been in my fur-ever home for 3 months now and I'm so happy to have a family and safe home. Mommy says that no one would know that I can't see because I know the way around my home perfectly. I have 2 fur sisters and they run from me but I'm trying to make friends now. When someone found me outside all stressed out I learned to be defensive to other animals and protect myself, that scared my fur sisters. Mommy gave me lots of toys that make noise and I play all the time. Sometimes I hear my fur sisters running and playing and I'm trying to join in; mommy says it will all get better and we'll all be friends, it will just take time for them to trust me. Last week something kept tickling my nose so I kept biting at it. Then when I was taking a bath, that same thing got in the way so I hissed at it. Mommy told me it was something called a tail and it was my very own. I've learned lots since I adopted mommy and love having a home!
