We adopted Callie, a chubby Calico, along with Magilla. She just presented herself to us, and even though we just intended on adopting one cat, we couldn't say no to this pretty girl. She has a congenital eye condition that impairs her vision slightly but she gets by.
Bio:
The SPCA gave us Callie's paperwork, which included a form filled out by her previous owner. She was a live-in housekeeper and said she had to give up Callie because her boss didn't want a cat around. Callie is an extremely quirky cat. She's so very shy -- and she's so afraid of our dog Sassy -- that spends much of her time hanging out in a kitchen cabinet (her "apartment.") If we have houseguests she will hide the entire time, sneaking out only when the coast is clear. But when it's just us, she begs for attention, meowing in her raspy voice, and she's hard to resist.
