Arrival Story:
Cheese-It was neglected by his previous owners when he was a tiny kitten, they were not feeding him properly and he was eventually abandoned by these people when they moved. He would come to my house for food, and that is when I decided to take him in. My husband was not fond of cats, so we were going to find him a home somewhere else. Cheese is a total darling, however, and quickly turned my husband into a cat lover!
During Cheese's first vet trip, the vet estimated his age to be around 8-10 weeks when we had found him, and he was just skin and bones. By his next doctors visit, he was already 3.6 lbs!
My husband was the one who named him, because he was so small when we found him, and he was deep orange... just like a little Cheese-It!
