Toys are overrated! I'm too prissy for that.

Favorite Nap Spot:
I like the warmth of the dryer so my mom put my kitty bed on it. The heat lets me sleep all cozy. Plus, there's a window above my bed; I look out of this window when I want to see what's going on outside.

Arrival Story:
My 1st home was @ the coast of NC...During Hurricane Fran, I was swept away from my home due to massive flooding. I was then rescued by a person unknown and brought to a nearby shelter. The shelter was jammed packed with stranded animals, so they shipped me over to a Veterinary Clinic that had space for animals in need of homes, or just to stay there till their owners came to pick them up. Fortunatly, it was also where "my current mom" was working at the time. 30 days later my mommy finally adopted me since my owners never came. I was just a kitten at the time and now I'm a fully grown 10 yr. old . Even now, I am still very frightened of water. I won't go near it unless it's in a small water dish. Thunderstorms and any kind of loud noises also scare the mess out of me! We actually had an Earthquake last year which completely freaked me out! I zoomed under mom & dads' bed as fast as I could. The whole house was literally shaking; I had no clue what was going on. Luckily, it didn't last too long and I stayed close by moms' side after that. I hope we never have one again!

Bio:
I flew in September of 04 from NC to Hawaii (11 hour flight). It was tough but I did it*. I was such a good girl too, no accidents at all! My mom was so proud of me and happy that I was back with her. When my parents were able to take me home, I adapted to my surroundings fairly quickly.However, I'm still very unsure about Maverick ( moms' 4 year old) who walks around grabbing my tail and chasing me around the house. But other than that I love sitting by an open window, just relaxing in the sun, and smelling the tropical air. UPDATE: Mom decided to have me permanently live w/ grandma in NC since I was so stressed out during the flight from Hawaii to NC in May '09.
