Arrival Story:
We were having a man make custom 4x4 rims for an M715. She was there at this guys' house with her little family and a big pitt X named Mac. He was busy eating the nobbie tread off huge tires in the drive way when I first saw Cloe and her mommy. I scooped her up and Mac came right over. I really wasn't sure what this dog wanted to do, but the man said he was their buddy. So I carefully let him see Cloe and he washed her all over! It was so funny because after her bath, she was all spiky haired! I just loved her and after much convincing, my husband let me take her home. He said if she is still needing a home when we come back for the rims, she could come with us.

Bio:
Cloe was born near Victoria, Texas. She is really sweet, but very shy. I guess she really misses her big Mac dog buddy! When she was spayed, she actually died on the table from a very bad uterine infection. But the wonderful vet at Animal Trustees of Austin brought her back! Cloe just loves all the other cats and is a very social eater. Cloe was pretty sick recently. She lost a lot of weight and was getting sub-Q fluids and being fedd with a syringe twice a day. She had just finished eating one evening and was enjoying "cooking" in front of the heater. About a half hour later she made this horrible Mow-ow and we found he near the litter box. My husband thinks she may have had a stroke. She died on 11-23-08. Her little body went through so much in it's time here. I always kinda knew she was going to leave us early. I hope she has found our other kitty-friends at the Rainbow Bridge and has someone to cuddle with. We miss you Kubota-Cloe......
