Arrival Story:
Noel arrived on a dark and snowy night, around Christmas, hence her name. It was freezing, about 0 degrees. I had opened the front door enough to reach around and get the mail and up popped just her head from under a porch chair. I was so surprised, thinking "where did you come from?" and then up popped two smaller kitten heads, one on either side of her, of the same coloration. "Oh my!" It was so cold I was worried about them, but they didn't want to come in the front hall, though I held the door open. They hid under the chair. I put some food out. Well, she did come in after a few days. The kittens were found homes through a no-kill shelter.
