The Trials of Tigger V.

Released from prison

September 24th 2008 10:09 am   [link to this entry]

What a bad few days Nick & I just had. For some reason, Mom put us in our carriers and took us to a vet and left us for four days. Were we bad? Was she ever coming back? I've been at the vet before, so I figured we might see her again, but Nick didn't know. It was very confusing. Anyway, she came back and got us this morning, and she's let us hang out on the porch for hours. It's a really nice day here. We are so glad to be home. Nick needed a lot of extra petting to make sure everything was ok, but he's pretty cool now.
While we were at the vet, they stuck something in our necks. Mom says they're "chips" but I thought chips came in a crinkly bag. Oh well.
Mom says she'd like to know why our fur is sticky and dirty. We're busy working on that, though.
Oh, we caught a lizard. It was fun to play with but then it stopped playing. Nick kept trying to get it to run some more, but it wouldn't do anything. Nick isn't the smartest cat in the world, sad to say, so I had to explain "d.e.a.d." to him. Sigh.
Well, back to napping and being home. Mom, please don't take us to the vet any more. We'll be good --- we promise!!

No porch today

August 2nd 2008 5:31 pm   [link to this entry]

Nick and I still don't understand about "degrees" but Mom says that we have 94 of them and that means we can't go out on the porch at all today. I think she's being unreasonable about this. Surely the two of us can handle any of those degrees that try to get on our porch! We got rid of that black & white cat the other day, didn't we (so we got a little excited and started hissing at each other too, these things happen.) So we're just hanging around being bored and trying to bother Mom into changing her mind. So far, no luck.

We have porch-ness

June 7th 2008 11:39 am   [link to this entry]

Wow! What an exciting day. Nick and I finally got to go outside on the new screened in porch. Now I understand what that's all about. It's like the biggest window you ever saw! I could stay out there all day, but Mom said it was too hot and that we "can't afford to air-condition the back yard" so we had to come back in after a few minutes. This is going to be extremely sweet.
