Tabby and White
Not being able to open the dog meat fridge in the back entranceway - someone's put a chair up against it so I can't open it anymore:(
The bells and feathers that hang from the top of the scratching pole.
Favorite Nap Spot:
Inside the carwash bucket at the back doorway, onto of the soft fluffy buffing mit.
Any kind of food.
Being able to open the fridge in the back doorway, so she can eat the dogfood.
indoors and outdoors
After Jesse went to the Rainbow Bridge and we got Ali we realised that it must be very lonely for a kitty living at our place with all our big dogs - they just don't come here. So, we decided to get Ali a kitty sister, but she had to be a special kitty to fit in with the dogs.
We got in touch with an organisation called Cats Unloved and gave them a shopping list for a kitten, explaining that this kitten was going to have to enjoy living with up to 6 German Shepherd Dogs! We also wanted her to be a tabby:)
A sweet wee tabby girl called Lulu came for a trial, but didn't fit in with our family so she was placed in her perfect home after our recommendations.
Chloe came to us when she was 5 weeks old and she settled in as if she had always lived here. She literally walked in the door and said, "Hi folks, I'm home."
It is with extreme sadness that we must tell all our furiends that Chloe is now at The Rainbow Bridge.
She was found in her "forever sleep" in our neighbors yard, with no signs of any apparent distress before travelling to The Rainbow Bridge.
RIP sweetest Chloe our kitty baby.

It's getting cold down here near the bottom of the world. The dogs have been inside a lot more in their crates in the living room, so they haven't been that much fun to tease.
Ali's latest trick is to run into the house first thing in the morning when daddy's alarm goes off. She runs to the bedroom door and meows very loudly outside it.
This causes a huge disturbance with Holly and Xena who sleep in mommy and daddy's room at night. They bark and try and jump through the door - until daddy yells at them in his grumpiest voice, telling them off.
Ali runs back down the hallway and out the catdoor where we both watch Holly and Xena appear in the hallway with daddy who very firmly orders them not to run down the hallway to the catdoor - ha ha!
I have found the most fabulous way to tease the dogs now.
The room that has mommy and daddy's desks in has a lot of boxes of things they have in storage at the moment as well as both of their desks. It's precious things mommy has packed up so as it doesn't get broken in all the earthquakes we've been having.
Anyway, the old fireplace in this room isn't really a fireplace anymore - it's just for show and was demolished when the house was moved. There's this big space in the wall behind it, and yours truly has discovered that a kitty can climb in behind it, but a doggy can't! He he!
Mommy was cross with me the first time Xena and Holly tried to dismantle the big old wooden surround fireplace to stop me meowing at them. She got me out, slapped my bottom and put me out the door.
"Naughty Chloe!" she scolded me.
Now she just tells Xena and Holly off for trying to climb into the back of the fireplace, and she's even put a rug in there for me to sleep on!
As a cat it is most satisfying seeing two grown German Shepherds sitting over the other side of the room watching the fireplace, all the while knowing that if they move anywhere near the fireplace they will incur the wrath of mommy - he he!
Maybe winter isn't such a boring time of year after all!

I've been a very good girl this year, even mommy and daddy say so. Daddy was particularly pleased with me when I ran over to him last night with a mousie in my mouth.
If you receive information from the dogs in my family, please don't believe a word of it. I have never teased a dog in my life!
There must be some other cat in my neighborhood that looks just like me. Shame on that cat for teasing my wonderful family dogs!
You will ofcourse receive a written report from Crystal disputing these awful rumors that I am the one teasing the dogs. I snuggle up to Crystal in her dog run on many a cold winter night amongst the sleeping bags in her bed, and I even clean those big German Shepherd ears of hers for her.
I'd really like a new catnip mouse this Christmas please, and also some of those tiny little dried fish treats if you have them - so yummy.
I suppose the thing I'd really like this Christmas though is this - my Christmas wish is that lots of people will give money to my local kitty rescue organization called "Cats Unloved." The people who volunteer at "Cats Unloved" work tirelessly, for very long hours rescuing kitties from life threatening situations sometimes. I might not be here if it wasn't for those wonderful, kind people who give so much of themselves so selflessly.
"Cats Unloved" place rescued kitties into wonderful foster homes and then place them in loving forever homes.
So, please Santa, remember all the kitties in the foster homes at "Cats Unloved" on Christmas Eve too, when you bring our pawresents.
Love and purrrrrssssssssss, Chloe. x x x x x x x x x x x

Once I got past all the fleas on Catster today and finally managed to get to where I wanted to, I discovered that my furiend Sassy was Diary Daily Pick today. Concatulations to Sassy, I hope she has a very special day.
Rumor has it that the fat man in the red suit is plotting his annual pilgrimage around the world in 24 hours on December 25th again. I sure hope he comes to this girl's house and leaves me the usual stash of catnip mice, dried fish treats, the small tins of gourmet catfood, and some fresh Christmas ham.
What would we do if he never came? Perish that thought.
Anyway, I sure hope that my mommy has given up on her crazy Christmas morning idea of - "Let's put the kitty Santa Hat on Chloe and take a picture of her opening her presents under the Christmas Tree!"
So far I have managed to hiss my way out of such and all the photos have turned out to be blurred! Shame on mommy for such ridiculous behavior!
We're expecting more German Shepherd's in our house in about 12 days time - god forbid that we don't have enough! Still, I suppose it means more dogs to tease for me and Ali! He he!
I think the kitty Santa Hat can be donated to the puppies, and mommy can satisfy her desire to dress unsuspecting animals up in it as much as she wants with those little cuties.
