Arrival Story:
My mother and I were shopping one day, and had to stop at the pet store. The local cat rescue was there with adoptions. We went over to look, but Mom made me promise "Not going to adopt a cat". When we got to the kitties, someone had just finished looking at a one-eyed kitten named Torrie. She was a real talkative little calico that was born with one good eye and bad eye. They were hoping people would donate to help her have surgery to remove the malformed eye. Mom took care of that right away. :-) She was such a cute kitten! Well, we went to lunch and what a surprise - then we went back and I adopted her! How could I resist? As it turned out, the person before me who looked at her was our hair dresser and her granddaughter! They came back, too, but it was too late. AC had her eye surgery and then I took her home. She is a very loud talkative member of our family! And still so very sweet!
Bio:
When we got home, I didn't really like the name Torrie and she didn't respond to it yet anyway. So I thought of naming her Josephine (as in Josephine and Napoleon). Then, since she only had one eye, it was Captain Josephine for a day or so. However, the way she just blabs on and on and an - it couldn't be anything but Annoying Cat! It is definately a term of endearment and not meant to be derogatory in any way. :-) She's our little AC Kitty! You can hear her purr two rooms away!

I was tagged by a really purrty little white kitty with a cute name, Clawdette. The game is to list six things I don't like.
Here are my 6 things:
1. Don't come near me when I am eating - I will run away!
2. Don't make me sleep anywhere but the bed.
3. Please don't wake me up.
4. Don't try to clean my feet off after I've been digging outside - yes, they are white, but I like them to get dirty!
5. Do NOT ignore me when I am talking to you!
6. Don't go on the front porch without taking ME!

Today, Meowmy and Daddy brought home a big box! Inside was some kind of kitty condo or something - I forget what they said it was. Who knows - but the box is amazing! It's a huge box that's so fun to play in! The kitty condo sits in the corner - I'm sure we'll check it out soon. Gotta play with this box, though, while it's still here and in one piece! Think I'll take a nap in this nifty box......
