I'm off the wall!!!

Mommy & Daddy can't believe how much better I am - they keep saying that I've done a 180! (Whatever that means!) We went back to visit that nice doctor on May 8th and everyone in the office wanted to hold me and kiss me! I loved the attention! I heard someone mention a "shot" but I didn't hear or see anything like that? Hmmm - must have been something to do with when I was on that table and everyone was looking at me? Mommy said I'm such a good girl and she bought me some treats! We go back to the doctor on Thursday for a check-up and I think I heard someone say a second round of shots...I'm not scared though! I'm getting so big!

No more antibiotics!

Friday May 2nd was my last day of antibiotics! I can't believe that 10 days went by so fast! I'm feeling so much better and have so much energy! I like to rest up during the day when they are at work so that I can run around all night when they are home! I think I'm gaining some weight, Daddy keeps commenting on my belly and once I think he called me "Fatty" - that's not very nice Daddy!!!

Since I'm more stable, I'm doing much better in the litter box and I've figured out how to groom myself. Sometimes I miss a spot, but Mommy and Daddy help me out! Last night, Mommy sprayed my paws with a water bottle and when I was licking the water off, I realized I had some litter/poop stuck in my back paws. How embarrassing! Thanks for pointing that out, Mommy!

I think I'm going back to the doctors office sometime this week. I hope they tell me that I'm doing much better!

Not feeling too well....

On April 22nd, when Mommy and Daddy were at work, I threw up a little on the living room carpet. Since I wasn't eating the dry food, Mommy had given me a white rice and human baby food mixture. I did NOT like that at all - so I threw up. I'm sorry!!! I've got problems with my tummy and I'm just not feeling up for anything... :(

Mommy worked from home on the 23rd and she knew something wasn't right. She called the vet and asked if we could move my Thursday appointment up a day - I needed to see the doctor right away!!

The people at the doctors office were very nice - I think they knew I was scared. They put me on the scale and I didn't even register!!! Boy am I little! The doctor said that because I was taken too early from my birth mother, that I was extremely malnourished. He told Mommy & Daddy to give me high calorie canned food, multivitamins and antibiotics.

I couldn't wait to get home and have some more of that yummy tuna flavored multivitamin paste!!! I think I'm feeling better already!
