Arrival Story:
We wanted a female black British Shorthair pedigree cat and I rang round breeders and found a black British Shorthair kitten that had been born on the day my beloved old cat, Mambo, died, so we had to have her. We kept phoning the breeders to find out how she was, longing for the time to go until we could collect her, and we named her 'Tambolina', but after a couple of months the breeders rang us and said 'Sorry, she is growing long fur'!!! I definitely didn't want a longhaired cat and the breeders gave us the opportunity to have a different, proper, short haired kitten but we felt we had to have her, even though no-one would believe she was a pedigree British Shorthair. I was very dubious about having her but.....now.......SHE IS WONDERFUL AND VERY, VERY BEAUTIFUL.

Bio:
Tambolina's breed has a name - she is a British Shorthair Variant (they are called 'fluffies' in the cat breeding world and are not recognised by the Cat Fancy) I am hoping to be able to raise the profile of these beautiful creatures ......ps. forgot to say that Tambi has a TIGER that lives in her tummy and comes out when she upzips herself.......
