Arrival Story: My mom wanted a handsome platinum burmese boy just like me, so she came to visit me and my brother at the breeder's house. My brother and I had fun playing with the toy my mom was waving around, but I knew that I had to get her attention, so I jumped up next to her. She scratched me on my back (one of my favorite things in the world!), so I started purring and rubbing up against her to let her know that I had picked her (unlike my foolish brother...his loss). She got the hint immediately and now she's mine!
Bio: I love human laps, especially my mom's (but I'll gladly sit on any available lap). I am extremely friendly and mellow, and not much bothers me. I also don't speak too much and will only say something when I really need to, unlike my blabbermouth sister Sophie. I really do love all humans, and I make friends with everyone (yes, everyone!) who comes to visit my mom. But I love, love, love my mom more than anything in the world and am her personal lap Velcro whether she likes it or not. Hey, love's not always convenient!

Hunkiest Feature: My mesmerizing eyes...they put my mom in a trance every time...
What I need daily: Kisses on my forehead (the more the better) and lots of back scratches. I guess I need food and water too, but the kisses and scratches are a must! Gentle hugs aren't bad either!
I just wanted to wish everyone a happy summer filled with long, luxurious naps, yummy treats, lots of birds and other flying things to chase (although I can only chase them from the other side of the glass), and lots of love from your humans! My mom just got back from Hawaii and although she's sad to be back in town, I am thrilled! She's been spending more time indoors on the weekends because she started drawing again. I think her drawings are nice, but mostly, I love being able to sit next to her and give her head butts as often as I can. I also offer constructive criticism when she's working on a piece. We get to hang out in the nice cool townhouse on the hottest days (we've had days over 100 degrees in the last week), so I am a very happy boy!
It's such an awesome day today! The sun is shining, and mom is doing her New York City Ballet workout (on DVD) here at home! I have recently accepted the position of private fitness trainer and I see to it that she practices proper form (always important, but especially with ballet) and gives me attention. I don't do ballet myself (come on, I'm a guy cat, puh-leez!), but Pilates is okay even though it has a funny name and has some elements of ballet in it. Mom says she's trying to prevent her rear end from being pulled into the dreaded abyss of time and gravity, but I think she's being silly. Be as it may, I am happy to be her personal trainer and will accept any forms of canned food, tuna, or Pounce treats as payment for services rendered.
Mom came home early today because of the rain. Sophie and I both know that she hates to drive, and she also hates the rain. If she's not locked into a meeting or work, she'll change her plans on a rainy day and spend it with us. I am in heaven! She's trying to do some work that looks pretty important, with lots of numbers and stuff, but I am determined to get the maximum amount of lap time today! The rain sounds really nice, and there's thunder and lightning (they don't scare me that much), and my mom's lap is super warm and comfy. I hope it rains all week!
