Arrival Story:
This cat actually isn't mine. We think she's a girl. She's a stray that's been wandering around our neighborhood in Peterborough for at least two years. We started feeding her a couple weeks ago. We contacted a local no-kill shelter to see if we could get her a good home. My wife thinks she's too pretty to be a boy, that's why I put her as female. She's very timid. She used to run from me. I took four pics of her today, 29th April,2008. She was very talkative. She even came up to me and sniffed my finger. Miracle of miracles, she let me pick her up. She didn't squirm. She seemed scared, but she's getting used to me. She's got a big patch of matted fur on the left side of her neck. Can anyone identify what breed she may be? We hope she's not real ill. She seems to be ok. My wife thinks she might have worms. It would be nice if we could get her treated and groomed. I just changed her age. I have no idea what month or year she was born. We think she's older than the 5 years I originally put. This would be a good situation for an "unknown" age option.

Today we gave Molly to friends a couple hours drive from here that run a pet ambulance service. She and Siger just couldn't get along. We rescued her from at least four years on the street. We feel good about that. We know she'll be well looked after. It was sad to give her up, but it's for the best.

She sleeps quite a lot. I'm thinking she's catching up on over four years out on her own. I doubt she slept very well during that time. I want to take the "adoptable" off her page but I don't know how. I'll figger it out.
She's such a lovable little girl. My wife and I thought she'd be scratching at the door and screaming to go out since that's been her life for so long. Not once has she even batted an eyebrow at the door. We've had her for six days now. She obviously has no intention of leaving. She's a happy girl. She purrs a lot. She loves head-butting us. (In the UK, head-butting is also called a Glaswegian handshake.) She meows a lot too.
We're happy with her being here. We love her so much. When company comes over, she's in their alp almost as soon as they get seated.
