Arrival Story:
Roo is a rescue kitty with the Maine Coon Rescue. She is a fur foster baby right now. Ruby was a happy furchild with a furbrother and some dogs. When along came baby. Roo did not adjust too well (she stopped using her litter box) and was given up. She was with another foster mom for about 6 months. Her foster mom got sick and she went into boarding. She was in boarding for a while and she dropped down to 6 lbs. This poor baby made a long journey from North Carolina to New Jersey to become the newest kitty in the family. She is currently not up for adoption - she has some health issues - besides begin under weight, she falls over and stumbles. The poor Roo has next to no muscles on her hind legs. She has been to the kitty doctor and there is nothing wrong with her. It seems like she was not stimulated and did move much for a long time. Roo is moving around much now. After a month she is starting to climb and has even wanted to play. She just needs lots of lovin!!!

She is a pure breed Maine Coon. She is is the newest memeber of the crew. She is a loving little girl. She is very vocal and very affectionate. Roo is starting to explore the rest of the house. She likes to hang out on the back of the love seat. She has become very tolerant of Reece. She will let her hang out in her room & even sleep in there. Recently she has let Reba hang out on the scratchin post next to her favorite window. Ruby still hisses and growls but she is becoming a brave little girl.
