Merry Christmas wishes and thank you to all of my dear,- precious friends.

I just want to take a moment to thank everyone who sent pressies and Christmas wishes to my family and I. We truly appreciate your kindness and thinking of us at this special time of the year.

Thank you to the family of: Bugsy, Rex, Max, Simba, Sadie (In Loving Memory) and more. Thank you so much for the Christmas wishes and the sprig of mistletoe.

Thank you also to Octavian and Odie who sent Christmas wishes and a mistletoe.

Thank you to the family of Zak, Puglsy, Yellow (Meow in Memory), Miss Puff and more for the mistletoe with Christmas wishes included.

Thanks goes out to the family of Otto, Sophie (In Loving Memory) Sagwa and Daisy. They also sent mistletoe and a very cute Santa with his sleigh and "2" reindeer. Very cute!

Next was mistletoe from our dear friends, Wanda, Norman, Tess, Rupert, Mitchell and more. Thank you for thinking of our entire family at this time of the year, sweet friends. Hope that Normie got some chicken for Christmas dinner.

I would also like to thank Kitcat for the wonderful Christmas wishes and the sprig of mistletoe. (You are such a cute kitty).

Thanks also to dear friends Preston and sweet Twix and their Mommy. Hope that you had a delightful Christmas. I'm sure that Twix and Alfie had a real Christmas celebration going on!

More prezzies! Meowzers!

Good morning everyone and what a fine day it is today. It is cold outside but I have no intentions of going out there; so it is just warm and cozy in our house.

Well, I am totally surprised to find more gifties on my page and I want to thank everyone while my typist is here and before she forgets! MOL

First of all, I received a nice, chocolate cuppycake from Tommy, Felix, Buster and Lars (At The Bridge). Thank you dear, sweet friends. I do love chocolate cuppycakes! Yum!

Then there was a Christmas stocking from Smiley Cassanova. Oh, that was so sweet of him. He is such a "Cassanova". Meowzers!

I also received a beautipurr Christmas tree from dear friends, Wanda, Norman, Tess, Rupert and the rest of their family. Oh, I do love that Christmas tree and will keep it on my mantle for Santa to enjoy too.

My goodness, what a purrfect purrday I had with so many wishes and gifties from dear friends. It just makes my little heart so happy. Thank mews all. I love each and every one of you and I would also like to take the time to wish each and every one of you a very Mewy Catmas too.

Now, if I can only get Meowmy to get my page all Christmasy. *sigh* We are always way behind!! Maybe we will get it changed before Easter. MOL

Oh boy!

Hot diggity dawg! Today is my purrday (well, my guesstimated purrday) and I've received some furry special gifts from some furry, furry special furriends. Aren't purrdays just so much fun?

I received a beautiful snowman from Athena with a sweet message inside. And guess what? Today is her purrday too! Wow, that is so neat. I sent her a gingerbread cookie and later on I am going over to her house with a big pitcher of hot cocoa. We are going to pawty!!!!! Yay!!!

I also received a purrty, dainty snowflake from the lovely family of Macallan (In Loving Memory), Marmalade, Caviar (In Loving Memory), Tailless and the rest of the crew. Their Meowmy came to visit me one time! That was so nice of her.

Then there was a beautifurr red heart from Morticia, MomKatt Laura and the NC Gang. They are such fun friends and so special to us.

I also received a pair of jingly bells from the Family of Big Harry, Patches, Angel Abigail, Zack and the rest of their family. That is such a fun giftie! I love jingly bells; they are lots of fun to bat around and make noise.

I also received another purrty red heart from my newest and fun friends Dexter and Dante. Thank you dear ones. I appurrrciate that so much. Thank mews for thinking of me on my special day.

And I want to thank Catster too for the purrday cake and the 25 catster treats. That makes a girl furry happy to receive extra noms on a special day.

Hello everyone. I hope that you are all having a purrrfectly wonderpurr day.

Meowmy found this cute poem and she is going to post it here in my diary so that she can keep it and remember where it is. MOL

(She says that it could very well apply to me). Hmmm, wonder what she means by that? Pffffttttt!
Here it is:

WHEN I AM AN OLD CAT

When I am an Old Cat I shall wear
a diamond collar and leave my footprints
on white couches;

a touch of brandy and spit out my vitamins;
I shall sit on the laps of dog people just to irritate them;

Well looky here! I cannot believe my little kitty eyes but Meowmy is sitting at the catputer and says that we will finish up my thank yous this evening before we go to bed. Halleleujah! I cannot believe my good fortune. (sits down and prepares to dictate the words that she wants typed).

Meowmy says that she must help Hazel with getting all of her thank yous done tomorrow. My fur sis, Hazel, who is an angel at The Rainbow Bridge was chosen as Cat of the Day today. I am so furry pleased and happy for her. She was one very special kitty and she sent me to Meowmy to "help fill the hole in Mommy's heart" when she/Hazel had to leave her earthly home to go to The Bridge. Hazel tells me that I am doing a fine job and that makes me very happy to know that she is pleased. Let me tell you, it was one tough job trying to get Meowmy to love another kitty after Hazel was gone, but with much persistence I finally won her over and I am quite pleased to say that I am now the princess of the palace. Ahhh, life is good indeed!

So, in continuing on with thanking everyone for their kind thoughts. Besides the many beautiful prezzies with sweet messages inside, I have also received some pawmails that I want to thank my dear friends for. *Clears her throat and concentrates on her thoughts* Taps a pencil on the desktop as she thoughtfully mews the following:

I actually received two pawmails from friend Daphne. The first said: "Happy Birthday. Hope you have a great day! And the second one simply said Congratulations.

Well, that is all that needs to be said. I know that Daphne is referring to my DDP award and I thank her for thinking of me on both occasions and sending her warm wishes.

Mr Sam sent a pawmail that said: "Hi Pickles!!! I just wanted to stop by and say thank you so much for my rosette and I also hope that your birthday turkey turned out pawsome!!!! Many purrs and prayers for a very Merry Christmas to you and your family. Lots of hugs. Mr. Sam and his family.

Thank you Mr. Sam. That was so sweet of you and I truly appreciate your kind thoughts and wishes. The birthday turkey turned out fabulous and I was quite pleased with it. I have Meowmy hog-tied to the puter chair!

OK, let's go! I finally have Meowmy convinced to sit and do some typing for me. I just had to tell her that I absolutely MUST get the rest of my thank-you's sent and make mention of all the thoughtful pawmails and prezzies that I've received. A lady must always be prompt and remember to thank everyone for each kindness that is given, you know. (Meowmy taught me that, but seems that she has a bit of a problem with following through on that thought sometimes).

Anyhow, here goes:
First of all I will mention the rest of the prezzies that I have received and am enjoying. These are listed in no particular order but just as we clicked on them and read the messages.

I received a wonderful gingerbread man from my sweet sisfur-in-law Mojo. The message inside said:

I also received another gingerbread man from a very special fur who I am very fond of. It read: "I just want to wish my dear sweet Pickles a very happy birthday. I decorated this gingerbread man just for you Pickles. I hope you enjoy him. And I am sending you all my wishes for a very happy birthday. Meows & purrs, Moose.

*Blushes and giggles* Ooooh, thank you so much Moose. I truly appreciate your wishes and the gingerbread man that you decorated just for me with your own two little paws.

Then there was a fun party hat from Kitty (who is a doggie) *giggles* I love that! She said, "happy birthday. I hope that you have a fun day."

Thank you Kitty. I did have a fun day and I have had a very fun week. It has made me feel so special to receive so many gifts and pawmails. I may just continue celebrating my birthday next week too! Do you think that I could get away with that? Hee Hee!

Oh and then I received a yummy vanilla cuppie-cake from The Bell family (foggy lewis oliver william lily eddie megan and hu-mum Rachel) who all gathered round and "on the count of three" began to sing:

Well, Elise. I certainly understand about how hard it is to get our mommy's to give us our puter time. I am probably going to become famous for my "lack of being on time" for anything---thanks to Meowmy. Well, at least I will be famous for something! MOL!!!

I also received a cute party hat that said: "How could I miss your birthday Sweet Pickles?? I'm sorry. I hope that it was filled with love and treats and that you wre treated like royalty!! You are one special kitty!!! Love, Sunny.

Ahhh, Sunny! That is sooo sweet. Thank you so much but please don't worry about sending belated wishes. That is purrrfectly fine. Read the above entry and you will see that I am in the running for being named "Miss Never on Time" purr of the year. It does my heart good to know that sometimes the best of us have the same problem, but with my Meomwy, I seem to have it much more frequently. Wonder if there is a pill for that? You know---something that would make our humans always put us and our puter time at the top of the list and always do so quite promptly? Hmmmm----maybe something with lots and lots of caffeine and lots and lots of sugar. *Eyes Meomwy's iced tea cup and scratches her head*

Oh yes! Then there was another beautiful red and green Christmas stocking that said: "Hi Pickles: We wanted to wish you a very Happy MeowDay (when is it?)! Well, you know, I am just not sure of my birthday date either. That is such a "foggy area" *giggles* I think that I will just celebrate the rest of the this month. What do you think of that idea? It was so sweet of you to send me such a thoughtful prezzie and I will cherish it (until it melts) which probably won't be for a very long time with the cold weather that we are having. I am sure that it will last until springtime and I just may pop him in the feezer and keep him until my next birthday. :)

You can read all about the Cougar song that Navin sent me in my previous diary entry. It was such a wonderful song and I will treasure it always. It was so sweet of Navin to write that song just for little ole me. And isn't Navin's name so very impressive! I think that in his spare time, he must be vice president of some very important company or something. What a great signature. *A thought pops into Pickles head* Ooooh, maybe my friend Navin is actually royalty. You know that he has to be very important with a name like that. It is good to have friends in high places; especially if they are good at writing songs.

Well, dear friends I think that about covers the prezzies. I truly hope that I did not overlook anyone. I wish to convey my heartfelt thank yous to each and everyone of you who was so kind to take time out of your busy schedules to send me prezzies and messages.

Meowmy says that she has been sitting in this puter chair long enough; so I must untie her from the chair and let her take a break now. Thank you to all of my dear sweet friends

This is just a quick note to thank everyone who has sent so many purrs, paw-mails and prezzies in honor of my birthday and my special honor of being one of the daily diary picks yesterday.

I am just so overwhelmed by everyone's kindness and so many prezzies. Goodness, a girl could used to all of this pampering. *Giggles*

I hope to send individual thank yous to everyone and to mention all of my lovely gifts and pawmails in another diary entry. I cherish each and every one of you, my dear friends, and want to properly thank you as soon as I can get Meowmy to sit down and help me type. I am putting her on a warning list and if she doesn't snap to it, I may just have to hire someone who is competent.

Meowmy tells me that she is simply exhausted tonight and says that she is going to bed early. (Excuses, excuses. I've heard them all!!!)
I suppose that she expects me to warm her feet when she goes to bed too! Pfffftttt! I will do no such thing until she takes the time to help me properly send all of my thank yous. (Better get yourself an electric blankie, Meowmy) *Stomps her foot and pouts*

Two birthdays?

Meowza! Now, I am a bit confused but not nearly as much as Meowmy. MOL (So, what else is new?) She is always confused anyhow.

Well, I started getting wonderful pawmails and prezzies last week from friends wishing me a happy birthday. Well, we though, hmmmm, my birthday isn't until next week but maybe Meowmy put the wrong date down on my bio. So we thanked our furrriends and felt so furry blessed that they thought of my on my special day.

Then all of a sudden, I began receiving birthday greetings and prezzies today too. So, I asked Meowmy to check my bio so that we could figure out what was going on. Well, sure enough, there it is, plain as day that today, December 15th is listed as my birthday. Hmmm, *scratches head* So, looks like I get to celebrate twice. Woo Hoo! Now, that's what I call "makin' the most of my birthday" MOL! I've just celebrated all week long and the fun continues!

Today I received a nice message that said, "we hope that you have a purrrtabulous day" and it was signed Sugar Bear and Little Bit, Your Tabbies with 'Tudes Furiends. Ahh, that was so sweet of them and yes, I am definitely having a purrtabulous day. Actually, I have had a purrtabulous week. *Giggles*

I also received a sweet pawmail from our friend Kitty (who is a doggie, btw) and she was sending birthday greetings from herself and all of the group at School Fur Graphics. She said to be sure to check out the main page of the group because they would be celebrating my birthday today and that they had my picture featured there too. Sure enough! There I was in all my glory with my Hazel Lucy orange hat and scarf on.

Now, I also received a very nice set of jingle bells from the family of Ciao-Li, Jean Louise Weezer, and the rest of their family. It said "Happy Birthday, Pickles. We hope you have a fabulous day and that you get spoiled rotten by your family. Mol! We love you pretty girl." Awww, I love you too dear friends. That was just so sweet that it brought tears to my eyes. How thoughtful and loving of them to send such a sweet note. Thank you dear ones.

I also received a red heart from very dear friends, Wanda & Norman and their family. It said, "Happy birthday Pickles. Hope you have a great day and get lots of prezzies and nip! Love, Wanda, Norman and family. Thank you so much dear friends. I am a little surprised that Norman didn't send me a chicken but he and Tuffy have the chicken fettish. MOL! Actually, I purrfurr ham. And Mommy gave me some ham today too. So, you see, I have had a great day today. Haven't found any nip around here yet, though. Maybe Santa will bring me some of that.

Let's see now. Oh yes! I also received a lovely red and green Christmas stocking from KC, Jesse, Sasha, Mai Lin and family. It said, "Happy Birthday! Here's a stocking to hang and enjoy!" Purrs, the zoo crew. Oh! I know, I bet the nip that Wanda and Norman mentioned is in that stocking. *Runs and looks but doesn't find any nip* Well, I suppose that I will have to wait until Christmas Eve for that. I can't expect everything for my birthday because Mommy says that Santa has to have something to bring for me on Christmas. Anyhow, thank you so much to the zoo crew because now I have a stocking for Santa to put that nip in for my Christmas present. Isn't it neat having a birthday so close to Christmas time? I get birthday gifts that can be used to hold Christmas gifts. It just doesn't get any better than that!

Oh, this is so cute! I also, received not one; not two; but three Christmas stockings from sweet Elise that she said was for Christmas because she had been doing her shopping early. Well, it certainly never hurts to have more than one Christmas stocking, now does it? Elise also sent me a beautiful red rose with birthday greetings too. Wasn't that sweet? Elise is such a cute little purr and I am so thankful to have her as a dear, sweet friend.

I also received a beautiful rainbow prezzie from Navin R. Johson-Davis. Inside he sent me a link to what he called a "cougar song" that is for my birthday. It thought that sounded intriguing; especially since my name was almost Cougar instead of being Pickles. (Actually, I am glad that Mommy chose Pickles as my name but she says that I fight like a cougar). MOL MOL
After I clicked on the link that Navin sent me, here is a copy of "The Cougar song". It is quite lovely by the way and made my eyes go a bit misty. Thank you so much Navin.

Oh my! *Wipes another tear* I am just so sentimental today, dear friends. Isn't that the most lovely song? What a sweet gesture from dear, dear Navin.

I just want to say "thank you with all my heart" for all of the lovely messages and prezzies. It means so much to me to have such dear, sweet friends who have remembered me on my birthday. (whether it was last week or today). MOL The more celebrations, the better, I say. It just couldn't possibly get any better than this. Even though my birthday is a guesstimate and was chosen according to the fact that I moved in with Mommy and Dad at this approximate date, I just think that they couldn't have picked a better date. You know, it is so close to Christmas and the parties just go on and on. And why not, may I ask? It is like "celebrating me" for the entire month of December. Pawsome! Party on! The cake and ice cream are sliced up and served and waiting. Stop on over and let's celebrate.

Another treat for my sweet tooth

Oh boy, oh boy! I've received a lovely cuppie cake just this afternoon. Isn't that pawsome? With all of these sweet treats I am zoomin' around the house like crazy. Hee Hee.

Inside the cuppy cake was a message that read:

Wenesday evening:

Just this evening when I checked my page, I had yet another beautiful prezzie from a sweet angel Amelia. She sent me a purrty blue ribbon with best wishes for a happy birthday. That was so sweet of her. Thank you sweet Amelia (angel).

I also received a shrimpie from a dogster friend of Java's. It had a cute little sparkly gingerbread lady and it said Merry Christmas. Coco said that he thought that he finally was able to get to my page. Hmmm, wonder how he did that? These doggies are very sneaky sometimes! *Giggles* But I am so happy that he kept trying and was able to send me such a nice gift. Thank you Coco.
