Arrival Story:
Bisquick came to my boyfriends work (at a vet hospital) shortly after Hurricane Isabel. From what we were told, she was a stray who had taken refuge under a generator during the storm. Unfortunately, the exposure to the loud noise of the generator resulted in her becoming deaf. We think her hearing has gotten a little better since we have had her, but it probably won't come back. When Dave brought her home, she hid under the bed for about a month. However, once she decided to come out she was very friendly, and has been ever since. In fact, it's hard to keep her out of our faces when we are trying to eat or do homework, but we love her anyway. :-)
