Manna is a tortoise shell tabby. I had a friend who fostered cats, and they had a tortie, and I wanted one, 'cause they are SO pretty. So, I looked in the newspaper to see if I could find one. There was a family who had two (boy and girl, but torties can only be girls, because they are of the calico variety)... Manna couldn't be "found" by the daughter, 'cause she wanted to keep her, but Manna "found" me sitting in their living room... walked right upstairs and into my lap and heart forever. She's been with me for 13, almost 14 years now and I can hardly believe it!!
