I wonder if blockages are genetic, as my brofur is at the vets with a blockage. Not as bad as mine, cos the vet managed to empty his bladder, but he kept him over the weekend just to make sure everything was ok.
The vet said Marmie was a very good patient - he doesn't squirm, meow and try to bite like me.
Tomorrow is Monday here, and Mum can phone and find out how he is. It is not the same without him. He always sleeps on the bed with me and Mum, and the dogs, so last night was kind of lonely.
I Hope he comes home tomorrow.

I'm home, I'm home. And making the most of it. Mum is spoiling me - although I think watching me widdle is a bit personal. The vet has told her to get ph strips and check it, but the chemist is out, and it is Christmas. Mum wonders if she could use the aquarium ph strips.
Thank you to everyone for the rosies, comments, pmails, and all the purrs. Mum was so worried (cos we lost Foxey in 2006 with this)and knowing you were purring for me helped a lot.
Hee hee - I seem to be the only member of the household who doesn't like the special food. Even my brofur Marmie will polish off my bowl. But I am taking my pills, so the vet said the food wasn't critical as long as I took the horse pills.
Love to all, and have a wonderpurrful Catmouse (it's tomorrow for us in Oz).

Mum and Dad went to the Ekka on Friday - it's like a State Fair - our Royal National Association Exhibition.
Pedigree and Whiskas have displays with cats and dogs you can pet, and information.
Anyway, the dogs got a treat bag each. They didn't do treat bags for kitties - we prefer BBQ chicken anyway. But mum bought us a Whiskas wand with three purple fish on black elastic string. She knew it was doomed ... doomed I say.
It only took me one day to chew through the strings and free the fishies. Mum says she doesn't know why she bothers. I say, now we have three fishies to play with, and you don't have to be there holding the wand.
Also, Mum ordered two of the calming collars that Alfie mentioned. The nice lady who makes them sent one to Bruce the Boss who had a bad accident, to help him keep calm while he recuperates.
She got one for me, and one for Utu. He's been to the vet a couple of times cos he has an abscess on his tail from his last Great Escape. And I hiss at him when he returns home, and get huffy for a day or two. We had the bandage cut off last night, and the drains removed. But the vet bandaged it again to protect the skin from licking, so he'll get that removed on Saturday and hopefully it will be looking a lot better.
The vet also got Mum some Felliway spray so she can spray in the various places we go. The wall plug in doesn't seem to work too well with us, cos we move about the house depending on temperature and mood.
Anyway, I think I am gorgeous, and I can't understand why she treats Utu like the prodigal son whenever he escapes and then comes back, and then goes mad at me for chastising him for upsetting her. She gets all worried when he escapes and I don't like my mum upset or worried.
