Arrival Story:
My husband got Clay from the SPCA. He wanted to adopt a large black cat, but Clay meowed at him and won him over. Clay was 3 years old when he was adopted. It is likely that had he not been adopted that day he would have been put to sleep.

Bio:
Clay has a sensitive stomach and so he cannot get cat treats when the other cats do. However, we have found that he can eat popcorn with no problem. Thus, he is the only cat who gets to eat popcorn whenever we have it. Since he feels shunned when the other cats get treats, he gets special treatment on popcorn days! UPDATE: Clay came down with leukemia and died Thursday, May 4, 2006.
